This was a great, great location! Very walkable to fun tourist attractions. I fell on the icy walk way down to the docks which sucked because I was laid up for 2 days. The shower is REALLY small and tight. The bedding and towels didn't smell fresh, like musty. Kitchen amenities could be better, bigger pots, dish sponges, etc. Lighting was terrible, we had to move lamps around to get decent lighting to work at night on our laptops. It was very warm and cozy with the basic heat. The check in was ok, but she verbally rattled all this info but because I was in pain, it was hard to remember it all. Biggest complaint is she mentioned a 'free shuttle" but just vaguely pointed to a stop area and my family had to hunt for it as there is no map/signage ANYWHERE. She said it comes every half hour or so, that was NOT the case and never could get to actually use it. It would behoove the host to create a simple little map, pick up drop off times, photo of the actual shuttle (it looks like a medical/senior shuttle with no signage) so guests can easily find it on the property. They can laminate it and put it on the fridge. Also, she mentioned something about an insta cart option but again no specific information how to navigate that as guests. She rattled it off but written posted information would help with all needed info...zip code, address, etc. It just made it very overwhelming to have to dig this info up and not be able to figure it out as it's done differently where were from.
