This was our second stay at the Hotel Commonwealth and they once again exceeded our expectations. Everybody is so friendly from the valet to the front desk attendants and housekeeping staff - smiles everywhere. We were in town for the Dead and Company shows at Fenway Park and the hotel is the absolute best proximity to the venue. We'll be back again next year!

I was in town for the Boston Marathon. The location is ideal for seeing the Red Sox (what a beautiful view of the stadium!) and is a short walk to the marathon finish. Staff allowed a late check-out, to accommodate my need to tidy-up following the race and still catch my flight. The hotel provided pre-race snacks and coffee....a nice touch! I would definitely book the Hotel Commonwealth again!

Hotel staff was helpful, friendly, and professional. Rooms were sparse but clean. Parking is expensive, but downtown location does not necessitate a car.

Close to Fenway,BU and Northeastern. Great hotel. Great beds fantastic staff

Hotel Commonwealth has the charm and personality of an old world hotel, with modern, contemporary decor. The staff welcomed us and our room was ready when we arrived at 8am, a very nice surprise! The hotels interior has been beautifully remodeled with clean, contemporary designs with a dose of Red Socks baseball themed areas intertwined, a fun touch! We dined at both restaurants, the raw bar and the kitchen, the service and food were excellent! I was there to visit colleges with my son and the hotel is conveniently located to Boston College, MIT and Harvard. My boyfriend went to Fenway Park next door for the tour and did activities in Boston, all within walking distance. Loved it, would definitely return!

Never noticed this location or could afford it but orbitz got us great rate to attend a show on landsdowne st i guess the red sox use it too-i think ted williams lived here while playing.....beautifully appointed quiet with nice climate control and comfortable bedding. new renovations are great enjoyed the oyster bar didnt check out the rear terrace or hawthorne pub but heard both great

Room and staff were terrific. Feels luxurious without being pretentious. This is our favorite spot for a weekend getaway to Boston. Are at eastern standard which was superb.

Nice hotel, clean, fresh, snd coozy. Close to Fenway Park, Kenmore Square, and BU campus.

Airport delayed my baggage and this hotel staff did everything to accommodate me and make the process easier. Neat, clean, and immaculate detail!

Amazing staff and views of Fenway park. Also really close to downtown and the park itself. Was only a 5 minute walk to the park.

Excellent Fenway experience! A must for any Red Sox fan!!

Great hotel and staff. Beds where soft and comfy. Great location.

Valet parking is not cheap at $53 per night. Besides that, the hotel was great with its location and cleaniess.

Quick overnight trip was awesome!! Great price for room !! The staff was awesome espeiclly front desk Lydia?

Awesome location, walking distance to several landmarks, restaurants.

Hotel location is very convenient, as it is located literally right off the Kenmore T exit and within walking distance to Fenway Park. You can easily hop on the green line to get to any of the touristy spots. (Keep in mind it is packed after Sox games). The Fenway view rooms were not available since they were renovating, so they upgraded us to a junior suite. Super spacious room and very nice. Would definitely stay here again

Staff was all very nice and accommodating. They do a great job working with their customers to keep them happy. Location cannot be beat

Right next to Fenway! What an unbelievable weekend!!!

Nice stay, would stay again. Clean and comfy. Nice stay, would stay again. Clean and comfy. Nice stay, would stay again. Clean and comfy.

The Hotel Commonwealth is everything that it describes itself to be - elegant and dedicated to customer service. It's location, in the heart of the Fenway, provides easy access to all restaurants and universities within walking distance. We thank you for a pleasant stay and will be back in the future.
