Very nice property in an excellent location. The staff was the best I’ve ever experienced at a hotel including five star resorts. Every need was met with a smile even though we wanted for little since everything was already thoughtfully provided. Hotel was kept neat and tidy at all times. Loved it!!

The property was on the corner of a busy intersection that has car horns, emergency vehicles, and cursing people all throughout the night. The hotel itself was lovely and so were most of the hotel staff and services. The complimentary welcome drink was nice to have, but the drink itself was okay. However, the destination fee and good and services tax are not worth the location and quality of the stay.

Funky & Convenient, Service with a Smile

The Moxy concept by Marriott is a funky, youthful vibe. Not necessarily for everyone, but if you like a club-like environment this is for you. The location in Boston is fantastic, just a short walk from the Commons, and the theater district and Chinatown are right across the street. Meals are served in boxes since all is ordered at the Moxy Bar where you're given meal & drink coupons with your stay. All of the staff are super friendly!

We enjoyed our stay at the Moxy. My only complaint is the person that checked us in was not friendly at all. And we paid for a city view and our view was of a roof top of another building. Other then that, everyone else was super nice and hotel was great!!

The Moxy is conveniently located in the theater district. Easy access to T, dining, and shopping areas of Newbury and Copley. Daily room cleaning too which a lot of hotels don’t do anymore. We enjoyed our visit very much and would definitely stay here again.

Mediocre Hotel and Ridiculous Destination Fee

Not great, small room even by city standards. What was really unfortunate was the service at the desk and the destination fee an extra 35 dollars per night is excessive and nothing is really gotten for it. Won’t be back.

Property facilities were great gym really good staff super helpful and the 35$ day credit for food/snacks was fab! What I would say is that this hotel at night is super noisy we were asked did we want to stay higher up away from street we were on floor 17 and it was so noisy every night until around 2-3am the walls are also paper thin so be prepared to hear everything either side of you. We had a feeling it would be noisy due to location and hotel reaching out beforehand to say if we wanted to be higher up due to noise so that was helpful. Good stay and would recommend for a party area.

The attempt at a chic and trendy minimalist feel is fine, but that should hardly be an excuse for cutting corners at every opportunity -- tiny and flimsy towels, even toilet paper of a similar description, blankets only on request even in winter, disorganized bar operation with staff that can't wait to leave. It just falls disappointingly short of even the basic Marriott experience.
