the room is big, the bed sheets were really clean, the sofa area was cute, the lp player was charming, the bathroom products were decent... in general, I highly recommend this hotel. a few cons: 1. the coffee was really bad. alas 2. no bathtub. -- i really needed it after a long trip in the snowy weather...

Clean, comfortable rooms, fun environment, friendly and helpful employees. Close to colleges, shopping and T. Would stay again.

Super comfortable bed, loved the breakfast and cookies at night, very clean, and good location - close to lots of restaurants, a Target and a grocery store, and more necessities.

Great fun hotel for a quick stay in a great area. Our room was really hot. Thankfully it was cold outside and they did provide a fan. But without the fan, the room would have been unbearable hot even in October.

Fantastic, friendly staff. Very accommodating. Rooms are fun in concept, spacious & clean. Only 2 notable issues: 1) Noise level isn't ideal. Rooms don't muffle out the sound of hallway noise or neighbors' doors shutting closed. 2) Cold room at night. We stayed at the hotel in late October & weather was unseasonably warm during the day, but temperature dropped at night. Room wouldn't get warm enough, even with the thermostat at max temp. Concierge informed us the air conditioner was shut off, but due to the warm weather, the heat hadn't been turned on in the rooms. They offered a space heater, but given the star-quality & nightly rate of this hotel, we were surprised that air and heat couldn't be controlled by the guests inside their rooms. Disappointed to say, my elderly mother did not manage to sleep comfortably while there.

Fantastic place! Beautifully designed rooms, clean and tidy place, friendly staff. Extraordinary experience!

The Verb is awesome. Complimentary records, comfortable bed, phenomenal staff and the location is prime. Haven't stayed in too many better hotels.

This is our second stay here. We stayed 2 years ago when they first opened and was not thrilled. They have however overcome their growing pains and have really turned it into a cool boutique style hotel. Cant beat the location.

The room was over a karaoke bar. It is also used as a venue for performances. My night was karaoke, at best 3rd rate, just loud noise. It was so loud the windows rattled and it was impossible to sleep, though I had an early morning appointment. The noise continued until 1:15 a.m. The hotel staff had no control over the volume or the noise. They did refund the parking fee but not the online registration for the hotel fee which they do not control. Staff was good; the room Hotel was terrible.

Quiet rooms on pool side. Beautiful modern witty design. Fun location for kids. Delicious Japanese restaurant. I'm very very picky & id totally return. Pool was clean & warmish. Zebra bathrobes & vinyl fun. Great cafe across street. Only complaint is use of k cups is not eco! Loved everything else. Staff rocked.

Great location. Literally right across the street from Fenway. So much to see and do at all times of the day or night. The hotel itself feels like you've been sent back in time to the 60s, in a cool way. Parking is expensive, but so is everywhere else. Great restaurants in the area. Loved it.

The retro music theme really sets it apart with super friendly and helpful staff. We'll stay there again for sure!

I came for a business trip as an artist. I didn't check out the business center or if they had one. Everything was up to my standard. I got an extremely great deal - 2 nights for 200 USD. Some orbucks I had added to the cheap price, but there was a sale happening a week before I got there.

Great hotel very. Lean and great staff. The record player in the room and the available records in the lobby was awesome. We will be staying there again for sure.

Location is great. Felt a little old inside despite newer decor. Parking is very expensive but hey... it's Boston.

Rooms are very comfortable and modern. Location is great, within walking distance of great restaurants and attractions. The Hotel I self has a fun retro feel complete with record players in the room. This is my favorite place to stay in Boston.

Everything was great, besides the room being a little hot l, they had fans in the rooms due to an issue with the air I believe. Otherwise the staff and vibe were perfect

The Verb is a very unique hotel! It's decor takes you back to the early 70's. The decor was fun, bed was super comfortable, and staff was very accomodating! Location was good, we weren't too far from the T. I highly recommend this hotel!

It was fun to stay in this brightly colored hotel with a hip vibe. Staff were helpful and our room was comfortable. The Japanese restaurant inside the hotel was excellent.
