record players and lp selection ... really fun... amazing outdoor pool in winter. great staff... great location... perfect

I loved everything about this property. The staff was great, check-in was super easy and efficient.

Having breakfast along side of the pool was very nice. The sun was shining and you did not feel like you were in the middle of the city at all!! The water pressure in the shower was not quite strong enough for a person with long and reasonably thick hair.

Love the music theme and decor. It’s a boutique hotel right across Fenway Park. Central location and easy to get around places. Near shopping areas and restaurants. Love the record player in each room.

Loved the location Great staff Always willing to help you

This hotel was excellently located, right next to shopping areas, the universities we were visiting, and Fenway park. The people who worked there were kind and helped us with all our needs. The theme was interesting, not exactly what I expected but not tacky either. Would go again if I need to stay in that area.

LOUD. VERY LOUD. And I live on a busy avenue in the middle of Manhattan with tons of traffic, sirens and road construction and sleep through most of it. After reading the reviews right after booking, I requested a “quiet” room. We were placed far away from the hotel restaurant/bar and the rest of the hotel, but facing the back of Tony C’s and Verb - whose dumpster powerwashing, glass crushing, overturning etc., delivery truck beeping/engine running and equipment dragging/crashing start sometime before sunrise and lasts several hours (well over 4 and counting as I type). Workers at Tony C’s and Verb then yell over all of that to be able to hear one another. This happened during both mornings of our stay. If you come back in the afternoon to catch up on lost sleep, Fenway is right behind the hotel and you can hear what’s going on just as well as if you were in the stadium yourself. You have the option of closing your window to lessen the noise (but not alleviate the pounding in your head) or suffer in the heat of your room (thermostat is non functional). To add to the difficulty in getting any sleep, the pillows flatten when you put any weight (i.e. your head) on them. Stacking two of them *may* amount to half of a regular pillow. WiFi - very slow and kicks you off often. Definitely couldn’t rely on it for work or international travel if you don’t have access to a cellular network. The good and semi-good: great location, cheap for Boston, friendly staff, complimentary water

Very interesting and fun hotel! The records were a fun touch. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a lot of space

Rock 'n' roll theme very well cartied out. Clean, comfortable rooms and attentive staff.

Record player in room. Choice of albums. Friendly staff. Rooms were very clean. Didn’t like Orbitz not disclosing $60 parking fee up front.

Wonderful place. Highly recommend stay here if you visit boston

All and all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already making plans for our next shows we have tickets to in Boston. This is a great place to stay if you are playing a gig or going to see a special show in the city like we were. We felt very at home with the retro style, guitars and amps in the lobby and the turntable in the room. You can tell they actually care about music and your stay. Everything was incredibly clean and even with a sleek look, the retro touches and dark walls in the halls made it out of the ordinary. It even smelled nice! The well decorated room had a very workable layout with the couch, bed and pillows being incredibly comfortable and the black out curtains work great. The bathroom has a fun design. I loved having two shelves to put our stuff up and out of the way.I wish we would have brought a suit to use the heated outdoor pool. The few things I would have liked to see is a usb chargers on both sides of the bed, a plug-in in the bathroom for the electric toothbrush, and rollers on both chairs. We both found that the website didn’t make it easy to find out details like no alcohol that isn’t bought at the bar, valet parking only-$55, you may have to use the outside entrance to the restaurant and that you get a beanie and your room key. The roomkey itself was awesome! It looks like a backstage pass, worked to much better the cards, plus you can wear it to a show and not lose it.

You can tell they actually care about music. It's not just some pictures on the walls. We felt very at home as my husband is a musician. I loved the drum throne at the vanity and the amps In the lobby. The room was was well laid out and we enjoyed the retro styled touches such as the alarm clock. The bathroom is with a two separate shelves for your stuff. I make my own skicare products, but was very impressed with the CO Bigelow toiletries
