The room was spectacular! The bed to the bathroom was so clean and welcoming on a cold winters day! The staff everywhere from the ones holding the door to the cleaning staff were so polite and helpful! The front staff were willing and wanting to help with anything we needed for a kettle to make tea at night to bringing up our door dash order to the room when we where to tired and sick to get downstairs to get it! I have been here before but will definitely make this our place to stay when we are in Boston again!! Thank you again for such a wonderful stay!!

The room was clean and spacious. We were fans of the red light sensor in the bathroom . The location to local events was convenient. The hotel was decorated beautifully for the winter holidays and despite being in a busy part of the city, it was a quiet night’s rest with cozy beds.

Very friendly people. They leave you little snacks like popcorn and hot chocolate which I appreciated. There was construction in the lobby but they were very diligent to not disturb anyone. Very comfortable and clean inside. Great location.

Our stay at The Godfrey Hotel Boston was nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, this was hands down one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The manager’s customer service was truly unmatched. He went above and beyond anything we could have expected. Knowing that my sister had recently graduated as a Registered Nurse, he personally took the time to decorate our room to celebrate her accomplishment. Walking into a beautifully decorated room was such a thoughtful and emotional surprise — it meant more to us than words can describe. On top of that, he generously sent a bottle of champagne, which made the celebration even more special. This level of care, attention, and genuine kindness is rare. This is what top-notch hospitality looks like. You can tell that the staff truly cares about their guests and takes pride in creating memorable experiences. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the location is perfect. Everything is within walking distance — shopping, restaurants, and so many Boston attractions. We barely needed transportation because everything we wanted to do was just steps away. The restaurant next door was also fantastic — delicious food and a great atmosphere, making it incredibly convenient after a long day of exploring the city. Best customer service (a rarity these days), clean rooms, generous amenities, but for an added few that isn’t disclosed, and perfect location. Only complaint is the TV. The only way to get onto Netflix or the like is to cast from your phone or device. Hardly anyone has those apps downloaded to their phone and even when you do, the casting feature doesn’t work (no matter the device). Ruins the experience if you’re looking for s as night in.

Spend your money elsewhere. We were given a choice between a street-view or quiet room at check-in. We were told that street-view can be noisy so we opted with quiet. What we didn’t expect was the “quiet” room to be a small dingy room with our only window facing a wall and a window to another room. There were no overhead lights, just two lamps and a wall-facing window which made it feel like night time the whole day. Be cautious of their $40 “urban fee” that covers basic amenities that are free elsewhere like WiFi, housekeeping, snacks, water, etc. Personally, I don’t find $40 a day for sun chips and Oreos worth it. Housekeeping kept things tidy but there was a brown stain on the bathroom sink upon arrival which was not cleaned throughout all 4 days of our stay. On top of that, we didn’t get our room cleaned on our 2nd day despite leaving our housekeeping tag on the door. We even called concierge to ask for our room to be cleaned and we were told they would send housekeeping over. Fast forward, we came back AGAIN to our room not cleaned. By that point it was 8pm and we had to call for basic necessities like water to be replenished… Most of concierge and the doormen were kind which made the stay better. The man at concierge at check out was rude and didn’t care to speak to us at all. He condescendingly pointed at the jar to leave the room keys rather than using his words… Next time, I’ll stay at a hotel where concierge has the decency to speak to guest like actual people.
