Beautiful lobby and great staff. We asked for a quiet room and they gave us an inside corner it was pitch black and quiet: exactly what we wanted! The rooms are great and the location is superb

The hotel was WAY Bettet then expected the staff was amazing helpful and so friendly! I will most definitely stay here again!

Great experience and staff was great aswell. Would recommend

Fabulous hotel, close to Boston Common, and Boston Ballet. Staff was so thoughtful and willing to assist with anything we needed.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this hotel!!! We have stayed here 5 times in the past few years for Patriots games, and the staff has made a valiant effort to get to know us and make each stay better than the last. My wife had a jacket shipped to the hotel because she ordered it last minute, and when we arrived they upgraded us to a top floor exec corner suite, had the package waiting on the desk, and topped it off with a bottle of champagne and some gummy bears. The icing on the cake was a hand written note from the Dir. of Ops thanking us for our loyalty. I'm starting to see Godfrey's pop up in other cities than Boston and am happy to see them expanding.

Great hotel and staff is amazing - hotel is clean and they offer complimentary non alcoholic beverages at the front desk which is nice. My gripe was that I let the staff at check-in know that I was here for business and I was told I’d be put in room with some light and high up enough from the street I wouldnt hear the street noise. I was put in a very nice room on the 6th floor, but the first night I woke up twice to garbage truck noise. It sounded like heavy loading/unloading for 30 mins - so much rumbling/noise so early in the morning! The Front Desk did offer to switch rooms, but I was unable to due to my schedule. It was my decision to stay in that room a second night and I woke up at 4:30am again, to the same garbage truck. If you’re there on business and a light sleeper, try and get a room that is not on the side where the garbage truck comes!

The absolute best experience in hotel hospitality I’ve had in a very long time. They cared they were always trying to help. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience.

This is a great place to stay. Great service, comfortable rooms and amenities and a location that can't be beat. You can take the subway, Uber/Taxi or walk around and just be part of the city. I will definitely be staying at The Godfrey during my next trip to Boston and I HIGHLY recommend it to others. You won't disappointed, a matter of fact you'll probably be pleasantly surprised.

No issues to report, staff was professional and rooms clean

Great location. Nice facility. Staff professional and helpful. Pleasant stay.

The Godfrey is in the theater district near Boston Common, so it's centrally located for a lot of activities. The rooms are small but clean and modern. The staff is well-trained and friendly. It's a short cab ride to the airport, we didn't even need a rental car for our stay in Boston. This neighborhood isn't super close to the Italian or Seafood districts, so expect a 20-30 minute walk to the best restaurants of those types. There is quite a bit of homeless activity in the area, but we had no issue other than dealing with panhandlers. I would recommend the Godfrey as long as they had the good pricing they had when I booked.

We were upgraded to a bigger room. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable.

Dark room: The only chair sits in an alcove without a lamp or light, so it’s not practical for reading, etc. Only 2 lamps over the bed, so the room in general is on the dark side, especially since our window overlooked cement and other rooms, so not much room for light to enter. Also, there were virtually no drawers to put our clothes). 2 small shelves and the hangers in the closet, so be careful if you plan on staying more than 1 or 2 nights

Had hurt my back just prior to traveling. Godfrey Hotel staff were very accomodating to me to make my stay more comfortable with some extra and replacement furniture because it was harder for me to get around. I recommend this property for the wonderful staff and also the great location in the center of things as well as close to subway lines.
