Revere Hotel Boston Common

Overall the experience wasn’t terrible. The hotel was fairly clean, the room was nice and it’s a great location. HOWEVER, there is a $40 a day fee for parking because somehow they own the building but not the garage. They do not validate for parking and when I brought it up at check in, I was pretty much told “oh well”. I followed up with the manager the next day and was told “we are competitively priced and we explain the fee on our website”. The issue there was they are not competitively priced as there are multiple parking garages in the area for approx $10/day less and I booked thru Orbitz. Orbitz explains that there is a $20/day resort fee and $150 hold on your credit card for incidentals but no mention of the parking fee. Both the woman at check in and manager that I spoke to brushed it off and basically told me to shut up and deal with it. Needless to say, that was an extra $120 cost for my short stay. The other issue is their WiFi connectivity. If you are here on business, please stay elsewhere. The WiFi connection is miserable. My iPhone was faster on 2 bars of 3G service and my laptop was virtually useless while in the hotel.

Great location, close to everything Few minor isssues but overall good place to stay

Love this hotel the beds are super comfortable very clean

Room was great. Staff could have more friendly and accommodating to guests.

Love the decorations is unique nuce furniture location is good good food nice and friendly stuff nicr pool

Our second time here , they redid lobby and made a bar which was very nice and had a wonderful guitarist playing while we had a drink Saturday night. Our room was comfy ( great great pillows ) , the only thing that bothers me is there is strong perfume like smell when in lobby area . I remember it last time and wish they could attend to try and change that. BUT it didn’t stop me from sitting in lounge and won’t stop me from going again here but it’s one of those weird things that bothers me and don’t know where it stems from. Staff couldn’t of been nicer . Parking self park is $40which is high.

Great place to stay close to restaurants and historical downtown sites.

Decided to take a last minute getaway ad checked out Orbitz as I always do and came up with the Revere on Boston Common hotel. This hotel is centrally located to all the Boston attractions either by foot, cab or the T. From arrival to departure we had a very nice experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Boston for either work or pleasure.

Quick trip to Boston and the Revere was a good choice.

Amazing experience. Great atmosphere! Loved our room and the hotel staff was extremely friendly and accomodating!

The room was very clean and warm. We were on the 20th floor and had a great view. The king size bed and pillows were very comfortable. We had parking but it was $40 a night or $51 if you want vallet but it wasn’t bad. I would return again.

The hotel is in a great location. Easy walking distance to nice restaurants, shopping, Boston Common Park, and the train lines. Check-in was a disaster. I. T . problems caused lengthy delays, I arrived a 1:15pm to sign in, and store luggage to wait on a clean room. At 3:30 there was still no room available. The Junior Suite I had reserved I was told would not be available until around 5pm. I was offered a standard King room and accepted, and was given complimentary breakfast which was nice. The following day my room was not cleaned until 4:30 pm after calling to complain. We stayed 3 days, and checkout process went smoothly, without delay. My only other complaint is the $20 daily "Resort Fee" for swimming pool, exercise facility, in room coffee maker, and of course internet access. Only the internet was used.

Hotel is expensive. Carpet is run down and heater was not very responsive during cold weather. Staff is very attentive and make the best part of the hotel. Location is good but parking is (expensively) charged. Some noise during night by occupants who party around night-time and elevator. Hotel charges for everything, even water. No courtesy water.

Stayed two days to explore Boston. Lots in walking distance. Parking adjacent to hotel,

We stayed for two days following a cruise that ended in Boston. We took a walking tour of the area and found many nice places to eat and great historical sights nearby.

Upgraded to a wonderful suite. Beautiful space! Very comfortable furniture throughout. Quiet room. Lovely little outdoor balcony.

Good experience of staying at a comfortable hotel with a vintage look and feel. Must recommend to others...

Nice staff. Accommodations is very good but not great.

It was very nice. Centrally located. Clean and comfortable. I would return.

Nice hotel, beds were comfortable. I was a little annoyed that when we were checking in our room wasn't ready (it was 5pm). After the long drive we had I just wanted to lay down for a bit before going out. It was only a 1.5hr wait.
