It is right next to New England Aquarium, Faneuil Halland a short walk to the North End. Its been my go to when I stay in Boston. I was a little disappointed in my stay this time. The bathroom was smaller than tiny. The toilet was installed within 6 inches of the glass shower enclosure and 1 inch away from the vanity.
We had a very good experience, excellent location for walking or talking the T, and close to many eating options. Very nice staff. Had one issue. When I booked, coffee was said to be available in a common area (no coffeemakers in room) but the last two days of our week there, they didn’t have the free morning coffee. Desk person said that the free morning coffee was a “special” that was over. Tough for me because I really need coffee first thing.
Location can't be beat. Very handicap accessible. Many restaurant options in the area. However - the atrium rooms aren't worth the cost over the cabin rooms because you cannot use the window you paid for. The windows open onto the main hallway, across a very short gap, with no privacy tint or mirroring, so everyone in the hall can see in if you have the blinds open. This means the only way to have privacy in the room is to leave the blinds closed, so you cannot use the window you paid extra for. Also note that the toilets appear to be powered by a turbine directly taken from a 747, as I've never heard a toilet that needed hearing protection before. If you are sharing the room and someone uses the bathroom in the night, you *will* be woken up. Shower had ample water pressure and hot water. No complaints other than the above, but not privacy tinting the windows that look into the atrium is positively silly. They also do allow a fairly decent amount of light into the room at night, even with the blinds closed. If I stay here again, I would go for a cabin room or a city view window. Atrium is pointless extra expense.
Great place friendly service super location
Two queen bed room was very spacious.
No free parking
Jeff was wicked awesome! Great room and excellent location!
Lightning in room was too dim
Convenient for my stay
The hotel is in a good location. Everything is within walking distance. The metro station is right in front of it. The pier is a short walk down. The 7'11 store is one door down. Good customer service at the front desk. I was allowed to check in early. I was saddened to find my hotel room (Queen) window NOT facing outside, but inside the hotel. Per Orbitz, the hotel room description was "city view". There is even an outside window in the Orbitz picture? This is very misleading. The hotel room, especially shower area, smelled sour upon my arrival. I had to buy room spray.m. The ceiling is paper thin and the hallway got loud. I heard walking, talking, doors closing. The maid's storage room was near my room. They were very loud each morning. I also heard the toilet flush from above EVERY single time. Strangely, the hotel uses real keys for the rooms, instead of key cards. This hotel was ok for a 2-night trip. I would not book it for more than 3 nights.
Great location in Boston. We will be staying here again.
.
Great location, clean and comfortable.
Excellent location next to subway station. Walking distance to harbor, Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall. Parking voucher paid only $22 of $61 overnight parking at 75 State Parking 3 blocks. Breakfast was coffee, granola bar and granny apple.
The aesthetic and location is really nice but not up to date with technology. no USB chargers in the room, no smart TV or any way to hook your phone to the TV
central to all city spots to walk
Staff were very pleasant, cheerful, and helpful. Room well equipped with towels and extra toiletries.

Hi Mark, Thank you for the perfect score, I'm happy you enjoyed your stay! We hope to see you again sometime.

Hi George, I'm sorry the complimentary coffee was discontinued in the middle of your stay, I hope the staff was able to make some recommendations on where to find a good replacement close by. I'm glad you had a wonderful experience nevertheless and we hope to see you again next time you're in Boston!

Hi Nathan, Thank you for your valuable feedback. We are in the process of installing black out curtains in all of rooms, but unfortunately it seems like our maintenance people did not get a chance to install them in the room you stayed in. This will remedy the privacy as well as light issue that you had. We have never had any complaints regarding the noise that our toilets make when flushing, so I sent maintenance up to take a look at it and there was an issue with the valve that has since been fixed. I apologize for the inconvenience and we look forward to welcoming you back and giving us the chance to do better in the future.
Great place friendly service super location
Thank you for staying with us and for your kind words.
Two queen bed room was very spacious.
Hi Marc, I'm so happy you loved our double queen room. We hope to see you again in the future!
No free parking
Expedia/Orbitz/Hotels.com should have removed the misleading parking statement by now. Our current parking discount is based on a 24 hour parking time period and is a good deal for the area, but as you noted is NOT free. We are otherwise glad you enjoyed your stay!
Jeff was wicked awesome! Great room and excellent location!
Thanks so much for the kind words about our team. We will make sure Jeffrey sees your praise and congratulate him for the job well done!
Lightning in room was too dim
We recently replaced many of our light fixtures and switches. We have three different styles of switches, the standard house-style light switch, the large dimmer-style light switch, and our new switches which have dimmers built in as a small slider next to the rocker switch itself. To save energy, we typically have only one of the lights on in the room, or both headboard lights, all turned down to the lowest dimmer setting. If you raise the dimmer on the side of the switch than it should be much brighter in the room.
Hi Richard, I'm happy you enjoyed our central location. I'm sorry the bathroom was too small for your liking. I will make a note of it so we can get you in a room with a bigger bathroom next time!
