O’Tulum was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway with my wife. The location, staff, and facility all exceeded our expectations. Danny and Guillermo went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Kudos to the kitchen staff for putting together such a delicious menu! We definitely plan on visiting O’Tulum again on future trips.

I booked O’Tulum on a whim and my husband and I were SO pleased with the experience! Be aware - this boutique hotel is located on a very long dirt road in poor condition with HUGE potholes, so getting to/from local attractions takes extra time. None of our taxi or shuttle drivers had any issue though. I appreciated that there was a guard shack logging entries, which made me feel more secure. I LOVED the ocean view from our 2nd floor room and the private plunge pool was perfect after a walk on the beach. Highly recommend the on-site restaurant, Oh! Mexico. The breakfast was included for our reservation - delicious! We couldn’t get enough of their Yucatán breakfast & banana pancakes! The dinners were equally as fantastic, especially their steaks, seafood, and O’Tulum pizza. After our first meal we didn’t want to eat anywhere else. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, and we loved that they had bikes and water shoes for guests to borrow. The construction needs a bit of TLC but nothing major, we hardly cared since everything was still clean and comfortable. The beach is essentially private since most of the neighboring properties are residences or rented out homes. A quick stroll leads you to a super calm bay with tide pools and abundant sea life, shells, and coral skeletons. We would absolutely stay here again next trip!

Staff will treat you like a king. my overall stay was great and will definitely come back to the same place. Food was delicious, drinks were the bomb and room has the perfect location

The property has a fantastic view of the ocean. I felt misled from the orbitz map on the location. O Tulum is far from the hotel zone. I would also note that you can’t swim in the ocean anywhere near the property.

This property is perfect for those that want to get away from the center of the crowds ... it’s serene , clean and the staff very attentive

The rooms in the front were amazing. You can’t beat that view. A few cons, sliding glass door didn’t work and the safe didn’t work. Food was great, service (for the most part) was wonderful and the location was isolated but perfect for us. I recommend if you stay here to rent an SUV. The beach was rocky but it didn’t bother us. It was a fun area to explore tide pools and we even got to see baby sea turtles making their way out to sea. We loved it and will definitely be back. Thank you O’Tulum!

Best hotel we have been to! This is a boutique hotel, nothing like we have been before. Is a bit further than where all the tourist are at in Tulum, but it’s PERFECT for a getaway, either to relax alone, or reconnect with yourself or your partner. Workers are so nice and attentive, rooms are clean and gorgeous. The views are exceptional. Will definitely stay here again. Me and my husband had an amazing time!

O’tulum is in an amazing location ( right on the beach!) and has a great staff and a beautiful relaxing environment. Easy to get around the area on bikes ( hotel has them free to rent) and very close to a cenote where you can snorkel or scuba. Sunsets from the beach/ pool area can’t be beat. Great for a romantic getaway Will definitely be coming back!

Gorgeous spot and quiet ... EXACTLY what we needed in terms of R&R.

Quiet hotel, not overcrowded mega hotel with a ton of kids running around. If you want adult only, peaceful time by the beach, this is the spot! Clean rooms and friendly and helpful staff. Swim up room is awesome! Not huge pool but shared with 3 rooms but we were never out there at same time so was pretty private and felt like your personal pool. You just step out to the back over at the restaurant and you’re on the beach.

O’Tulum was nice and the views were amazing! The food was okay! Drinks were okay too! I think a less basic food menu would do this place great! Nonetheless, the staff was sweet and extremely atentive! My bf and I are a young couple and for ya it was just WAY TOO QUIET and there wasn’t much to do at the hotel. The hotel would be great for people seeking absolutely tranquility! I did enjoy doing some yoga by the pool facing the ocean, it was magical! I didn’t like the excessive amount of ants in our room! I didn’t complain about it though because I’ve seen it many times in the Caribbean and I understand they’re very common, sometimes! Overall, I don’t this we’d revisit not because it was nice but because we are into a little more fun and not so much the silence lol

Small 12 room hotel. Very friendly staff. Good food. Beach is too rocky but view is excellent. Short 2 minute bike ride from a cenote.

I just got back this week and I have to say what a fabulous place to stay! It's a small, quiet boutique hotel and was a great choice for me to enjoy a relaxing few days alone. I travelled down by myself and felt completely safe. The staff was amazing! They were attentive, but not at all overbearing, and they made me feel like a part of a family. The rooms are clean, comfortable and even the rooms with only a partial view (which was my room) had a lovely view. The next time I come back down alone, I'm absolutely staying here again.

Really enjoyed the hotel and the experience. It is off-the-beaten path and takes about 20-30 minutes to get to the hotel zone but the plus side is a quiet, relaxing oasis away from the tourists on the strip. I highly recommend having a car for trips into town.

Our stay at O’Tulum was magnificent. A cute boutique hotel just on the water, has great views, amazing staff and yummy food and drinks. Loved our stay and wish we could go back.

The hotel was fabulous. There are only 12 rooms total, and each has some sort of water on the balcony, or it's connected to the pool. The rooms are modern and sleek, and our room (room 2!) had a brand new air conditioner and a gorgeous set-up, with a wood-floored shower and a walk-out to a private pool. The entire staff was exceptional. Breakfast is far from continental, and you order off a menu where everything is fresh and flavorful and delicious. The small touches of complimentary beach bags and yoga mats upstairs really made the place feel lush. There is so much water everywhere in the hotel flowing and moving, and the way the building ties into the ocean is marvelous. The only thing-- be careful of how you get there. It is a few kilometers down a long unpaved dirt road, and we had a Jeep and were VERY glad we did. They do have complimentary bicycles for short trips though-- go see the cenote right down the street! (Exit off the highway is hard to see.)

I had an amazing experience at o'tulum! staff was great, super friendly and efficient, all rooms have a hot tub and a pool just outside the door, and a very comfy bed. The hotel has a beautiful architecture! and water all around which makes it all very peaceful and soothing. the beach is a little rocky but you can easily enter wearing flip flops and the water temperature is spot on. food was very good. I would love to come back! go for it!
