My overall expert experience was wonderful. The staff members were very pleasant. A little disappointed in the food selection.As I was expecting island food, more flavor but I understand not everybody wants dominican food. The only other complaint I can think of is that there was a smell of dampness in the room.But it wasn't a deal breaker. I've really loved the all inclusive option. One other thing that people complain about a lot is the seaweed on the beach.I did notice that the staff members cleaned the beach as best they can each morning.Just remember they can't control this.

The pictures are not an accurate representation of the resort. The beach is full of rocks and the waves are strong. The food was not bad at all and there are people throughout the property trying to sell you things. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

L’hôtel est parfait pour les familles. Plein d’activités. La nourriture est délicieuse. Le personnel est très accueillant, les chambres sont propres, spacieuses et bien équipées. la terrasse agréable. Le réfrigérateur toujours full. I had a good time. But I get up early if not I would not have enjoyed myself. There are sighs not to reserve chairs but by 8 there was not one to be had. I sat there reading in the morning and watched one-person reserve 14 chairs. I can't recommend this resort or return for this reason.

My stay at Ocean El Faro resort was amazing! Check in with super simple the young lady that helped me was great. She was able to upgrade my room. The resort is beautiful clean and everyone was super nice. I’m really thankful for Carlos Enrique Buayone my guest specialist that would send me the daily activities every morning through WhatsApp. My room was super clean and so cute with a swim up pool. The food, drinks, club and bars were amazing, I give the resort, a 10 out of 10.

Nice pools and lazy river. Clean rooms, although face cloths and hand towels were hit and miss. Received only one face cloth a total of about 3-4 times in an 11 day stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice view of pool area from balcony. Lots of dining options, nightly entertainment.

The pool was a lovely temperature and there was always something fun going on. We loved the swim up bar. I wish the staff enforced the rule about not holding the lounge chairs because they were usually all taken before 9am and people took off for hours so no one else could use the chairs. Also would like to see the pool a bit better maintained and cleaned.

We literally couldn’t possibly have had a better experience if we tried. Everything was perfect. Anyone who says otherwise has unrealistic expectations of a country like the Dominican. The resort is immaculate. Is there a tile missing from the pool deck or a bit of dampness in the rooms? Sure. But like, get over yourself if that’s your main review. Food was delicious. There was a French fry card, a pool-side handmade crepe station, several buffets, and a multitude of sit down restaurants. We were not privilege, so we did not get advanced reservations, but you can definitely get reservations. All you have to do is relax and take whatever time you can get. If there was an 830pm available, we grabbed it. You would never go to a big city and expect there to be availability at every restaurant in the city so why would you here? We got reservations at every single one of the restaurants over the course of our week. Sakura and Margarita were our favorites. We loved it. Already planning to return.

The staff was amazing! The rooms were clean. Jorge, the chef was the nicest most helpful person ever, helping with special requests we had. We had a great time here

Great staff. Room needs lots of fixing. Food can be better too. Drinks are great. We had lots of issues with power turning off automatically in our room and we had to ask to change the room instead of them offering. The beach is great.

Evelin, Gabriel and Aritzia at the front were excellent. The rooms were very nice. Clean and excellent house keeping. Pools and activity facilities were clean and well maintained. The water park is amazing for small Children. Shallow and the slides are slow. The life guards need more consistency in regards to rule enforcment. Some would try to not allow parents with small children to take them up to the slides while others would let adults wih no children enjoy them. Upon asking for clarification we were informed that the rule was that parents could take their children up but slides were only to be used by the children. No adults. The lazy river was amazing. Lots of water features for a more exciting float. The beach had beautiful sand, clear clean water and lots of chairs. If you follow the beach towards the El Besos side there is a small protected inlet which is much calmer and amazing for small children. It is off the resort but its directly attached. We were able to see fish and pelicans which was quite fun. The bars were nice but quite slow. They vould have used another bar tender at each location for the amount of people using them. The drinks are mixed very strong and they do an excellent job keep track of who to service next. The restaurants were very nice and El Mercado as the buffet was great. The only issue with then was the lack of easy vegetarian options and display. At El Mercado, which is where we ate most of time, the vegetarian options were often
