This was our first time traveling to Mexico (Playa del Carmen) so we were very happy to be in a unique beach front hotel rather than a high rise. Staff and service were excellent! The rooms were unique and comfortable. Grounds were lovely, staff constantly working to keep them clean and pleasant. Everything we needed was within a few blocks, such as money exchange and good places to eat with live music.

The staff and service is excellent. The property is beautiful and on a great part of the beach. The beach is public but there’s security everywhere making sure the public doesn’t come onto the property. The service on the beach is like no other. We had drinks and lunch brought to us everyday! Nothing negative to say, we loved it.

I loved the unique and quite atmosphere. The place feels like a true tropical get away. No TV I loved it! Front desk staff was friendly but you had to follow up on request. Las Olas restaurant staff was the best and their food was amazing!

Great staff was the best part. They are great! Only thing, it was a little difficult to determine the cost online (Orbitz side) for 2 teenagers and 2 adults but it was resolved when I got there. I had to get a bigger room because they had me down for 2 adults. I was moved to a bigger room with a king bed and a small tiny bed. Then I had to call for them to haul another twin bed to the room. So, I don't know if they have a room with say, two queen beds.

This resort is beautiful! We absolutely loved every second of staying here. Our room was wonderful, the staff was great, and we were in walking distance to a lot of food and shops. Staying at this resort was our favorite part of our trip.

I liked the location. I didn’t like the upcharges for all beverages with the half board plan $2.50 for a can of coke! The food menus options should also be better. The Taco’s made to order were good!

Compared to most hotels/resorts at Playa, this one is kinda unique and gives you this laidback "jungle" feeling. The resort is also pretty big compared, to some other hotels which I have seen. They take great care about the property and you'll definitely enjoy this as a guest. Stuff is friendly and breakfast is unbelievable good with lots of variety (and I'm a picky eater). The hotel seemed to be a bit empty and I have been told that that is pretty much any time like that. Don't get me wrong on this one, I actually enjoyed this, not a big fan of those over packed family resorts. There is a good amount of people there, just not packed. So now the cons: If I would really have to complain about something, I have three things... 1)I hated their light switches, which were a combination of fan control, light switch, dimmer etc .... not really convenient. 2) It took them three days to remove the seaweed, when a storm hit us. 3) The water pressure and the mixture of hot and cold water, goes up and down during the showering process.

Stayed 3-nights at the property. We booked a treehouse palapa with thatch roof. When we checked into our room which is at the very end of the property; the room has strong odor from damp thatch. It could have been ventilated before the guest arrival. We requested a room change and we were moved to a smaller room with no thatch roof. Hotel ground is beautiful and staffs are friendly. Main pool in front of the main restaurant is Beautiful. Breakfast buffet was average. Love the location being close to 5th Ave and other Restaurants on Calle 38

I liked that they had activities like pottery paintings but I did not like that they were only open on the hottest time of the day.

Friendly, responsive staff. Loved the pools! Serene, quiet and plenty of seating options. The downside is the beaches/ocean are filled with sargassum so the pools are the only water option.

Service was great location room pretty much everything

ALL of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

Property grounds are fantastically maintained. It takes the relaxation to a higher level. Had a few small bugs in room but never got to a point that was distracting/ harmful.

I loved it here! Brilliant location, wonderful friendly attentive staff.
