DEFINATELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! Check in time is 3pm. We arrived at 2pm and asked if our room was ready. It was, but in order for us to get it we had to pay a $50 early check in fee. We wanted to drop off our luggage, as we were going into the city for an event and dinner. Not wanting to pay an extra $50 to drop our luggage off in our room and leave, I asked if we could leave our luggage in the office or somewhere that was safe and/or locked up in the lobby area. The answer was no. They do not have anything like like. It makes no sense that if our room was already cleaned and available, that in order to get in, we had to pay $50 to get in 1 hour early. Absolute no customer service or common sense. What were they losing out on in letting us check in early to secure our luggage in our locked hotel room? Not friendly staff. The front desk is surrounded by glass (scary)! Once arriving to our room, it was filthy and clearly had not been thoroughly cleaned. DEFINATELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

The room was clean and the staff was helpful. Shades on window were broken and the sound on the television didn’t work. The windows are so thin that it sounds like they are open and every sound outside sounds like it’s in your room. Absolutely not worth the price. I feel very ripped off.

To begin with, I had emailed the hotel asking about early check-in and the response was yes we can accommodate early check-in depending on availability with no mention of any fee. When I arrived the person at the front desk said I would have to pay $50 cash if I wanted to do early check-in, which was never communicated with me through the email. Our hotel room was rundown with a broken mirror, broken wardrobe pole, sticky floor, blinds that barely opened up, funky humidity due to improper ventilation.

Missing the Quality in the Name!

We booked the stay because we had an early flight the next day. It was close by, with a shuttle and based on ratings, decent. It was far from that. They did let us check in early, but it was for a fee, which was fine by sketchy when they said it had to be paid in cash. We then got our room, the window wouldn’t lock, the door lock was broken, the tv wouldn’t work. Plus, no shampoo, conditioner, soaps, etc in the bathroom. We didn’t want to say anything because one, we couldn’t understand the one working and two, it was such an unsafe area, we didn’t feel safe so we stayed inside all day until we finally were able to check out and leave the next day.

This is a good place to stay if you are in transit. There is a Burger King and an Indian restaurant across the street. No eating places besides a couple of options. For the money, it is a good bargain for NYC.

Staircase to be used to access rooms at ground level very difficult for those who cant climb stairs and also to transport heavy luggage. Room was dirty and flooring very wet which made all our luggage kept on the floor wet. Shuttle not provided as mentioned. We had to use an Uber to the airport costing us US $30 . Breakfast was very poor. Overall we need to be compensated for the poor conditions and part refund of room charges to be refunded.

Stop over

Initial reaction from the outside was a little concerning however the interior is fine and the receptionist was really nice. The room was in need of some tlc and as we were at the front quite noisy, but we were so tired from our transatlantic flight we just fell asleep. Breakfast was a little bit of a free for all but again plentiful. Ideal for airport a stop over.

Will Never Stay at This Hotel Again

Arrived at the hotel approximately 2 hours early and was told that to check in early it was going to be an extra $50 (refused!), mattress was hard, would suddenly lose tv signal, tv channels took awhile to load, no phone in room (had to use my cell phone just to call the front desk!), told shuttle bus leaves at the top of the hour and to check out 10 minutes before 7:00am for shuttle ride to the airport only to find out it left before the top of the hour (had to take an Uber)!!! Never again...!!!

Don’t book this hotel

Absolutely do not book this hotel. It is disgusting. The dresser looked like it came off the street. There were some type of stains on the walls. The receptionist was behind a plastic barrier and hit the barrier with her hand to get our attention. We walked into the room and walked right back out. This hotel should not even be on hotels. Com. We booked another hotel and our Uber driver said he was pretty sure that was a shelter. We are in the process of trying to get our money back as it was not that cheap.
