I usually stay at this hotel because it is conveniently located next to Place Alexis Nihon, Atwater Station and restaurants on St- Catherine Street. However, when I arrived at my hotel last Thursday, I was put on a floor with a hockey team occupying the other hotel rooms on the floor. They were much younger, loud, slamming doors, drinking, talking in the hallway with their room doors open. Clearly I could not sleep and had to call the Manager twice and had to ask to be put in a room on another floor at midnight or else I would not have slept a minute. I was not even offered a discount or an upgrade in my room for the inconvenience and having to pack my stuff up and switch rooms at midnight. The next room had a loud noisy fridge that I had to unplug.
Good location, nice to have a kitchen, parking underneath for smaller vehicles
Bad service. The guy at the counter was rude and did not compromise.
I love that there is a kitchen and 2 great grocery store a block away. The atwater metro is also a block away. Many many many resteronts within walking distance. Staff is great. Very friendly and helpful.
Kitchen is a plus and the feeling is basic with everything, but it's all there, and you can't beat the price.
Staff was friendly& extremely helpful. Exceptional value for price. Great location as well!
Me apartment was very dimly lit. TV was prehistoric hard to see, there were minimal amenities in the apartment Wifi soso
Very comfortable and quiet. Reasonably priced with a helpful staff. Convenient to subway line.
Spacious!! Great customer service ... Nabil at the service desk was more than helpful
i really appreciate the walking distance to every other places in downtown montreal.
I usually stay at this hotel when I visit Montreal. It is fairly priced, conveniently located, next to the subway, and comfortable. The only negative points are that the elevators take a long time to come to my requested floor, and the rooms could use some maintenance and painting. For examples, the TVs are old, and the walls have scratches. Otherwise, I will stay there again!
Good hotel in a good location and the staff was friendly even though it was a very busy weekend. Good options for stores and restaurants nearby and it is always nice to have a kitchen for shopping and leftovers.
Ok, so I wanted cheap and that's what I got. So... if your looking for "nice" look elsewhere. Highlights: Pretty clean, really close to metro line, close to some nice restaurants and good bars, rooftop terrace is nice especially at night, cheap. Lowlights: wifi is worthless. I mean terrible. Building is not in the best shape. Door keys kept deactivating and we were up on the top floor so... that was annoying. Elevators took forever and one was broken down for a bit. Towels are tiny, room was hot, bed was not comfy, hotel staff... just ok. I think next time I'll spring for more on the hotel.
Bufget hotel in Mpntreal. You are gettong a lot for your money. Everything is whithin a walking distance. The room was quite big and thst a positive thing.
Totally recommand staying. Close to a ton of shopping, subway stops, food, and great hotel staff.
Generally, I'm satisfied for them though, one thing I'm not satisfied is Wi-fi service. I had to move to restroom when I need to use Wi-fi
i'm not impressed. A few days ago I complained to Jenny, the hotel front desk manager about the extreme amount of noise that I had to endure staying in my hotel room and the rude service from the balding front desk guy. Also the cleanliness of the bathroom was deplorable. She never even got back to me to apologize or even give me some kind of a rebate for the crap that I had to deal with. All reputable hotels would give you some kind of compensation, even $50 off your next room. I didn't hear back from her. I'm not impressed. Thanks for nothing Jenny.
