Staff was great until I asked for more towels in the evening and had to answer many questions about why I needed more towels. Like I was crazy for asking for additional towels Room clean but no window in room weird

Loved experiencing the diversity of Montreal in this little microcosm of a neighborhood. Very convenient to downtown.

great value, perfect location close to bus station and center of town, buses take you everywhere; staff and hotel were perfect for my short-term stay; quite and clean; great staff; relatively small room

Great value and nice clean rooms. Loved the late night snacks and complimentary breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

What more can I say than what my title says. A very nice hotel. Not a luxury hotel. But for the price, who can complain.

Small rooms but well laid out and decorated and a little hard to find if you're using google maps and comming from the train station. Central to the underground city, the old town and the coach to the airport, Staff we're extremely friendly and helpful and the cool picnic baskets every morning were a treat. Would definitely use again.

Helpful and accomodating, the staff at le Pomerol are the real stars here. The economy rooms are small - very small, but the feeling of comfort and welcome is felt even in such a small space. I have already, and will continue to recommend this hotel to friends and family, as well as business contacts travelling through Montreal. The hotel is well located for both walking and bus/Metro travel although common sense should be exercised in the evening when walking in the neighborhood as it should be anywere else. I would happily stay here again if I wasn't already relocated to the city!

Nice hotel with decent rooms at a very competitive price, and the included continental breakfast is a plus. The location is a great launching point for activities throughout Montreal, as it's in a major area for shopping, dining and nightlife and it's directly across from the main hub of the Metro system (Berri/UQAM station) for travels throughout town. For the most part, staff were really friendly and helpful apart from one front desk person who seemed convinced I was an intruder (I guess that at least means they're serious about security) despite continually proving that I was staying there. Maybe it was because I might have looked local (I was wearing a Canadiens shirt that day) but I didn't like getting interrogated on coming and going from the hotel, and getting the evil eye still after proving I was staying there was irritating. Everyone else seemed quite courteous though. My only big complaint is that the neighborhood can be very noisy, particularly on the weekend. If you have a room facing the street along Maisonneuve, you might not get much sleep... or at least you'll want to consider getting some earplugs.

It's a really friendly place and the location is very convenient. The place is also generally well kept, but it's dark, the romm decor is not very good ('boutique' is an overstatement), and the carpeting is not very clean.

Great location, friendly staff, super nice rooms & amenities. Oh and a real room key!

Nice, small boutique hotel. Rooms are good, location is great for the Ste. Catherine Street and downtown areas, and the breakfast basket left outside your room every morning is a nice touch. The self-service coffee+candy station near the lounge is useful too.

Auberge le Pomerol reminds me of hotels I have stayed at in Paris. My room was small, but well furnished. A continental breckfast was delivered each morning, and snacks were available throughout the day. The staff were helpful in recommending resturants in the neighborhood. The metro station is just across the street from the hotel.

The Auberge le Pomerol was a wonderful experience. I was in Montreal for a ten day vacation. The staff and facility was exceptional. Staff members provided great information regarding directions great points of interest. Always with a smile. The hotel was pretty, very clean and convenient to all parts of the city. The hotel was also across the street from the subway station. A real plus!

Dear guest, Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry about the towel issue. In order to deliver a better service in the future we will make an investigation with the services involved. We hope to see you again. Best regards,
