I was scheduled to stay in this hotel for a layover on 9/12/17. A team of us were to fly out the next morning to meet in Miami, then on to Haiti to aid in installing water filtration systems. Then hurricane Irma hit. I contacted the hotel directly as soon as I received confirmation that my flights had been canceled. They said they could not help me, and referred me to Orbitz. I contacted Orbitz (whose customer service is amazing) and the Orbitz rep placed me on hold & contacted the hotel directly. Once she came back on the line she said she pleaded with the hotel to cancel the reservation & issue a refund, to which they declined. So, I can't really say how the hotel itself was, but I will say their customer service needs some assistance.
The bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The staff greeted you with warm and friendly smiles.
The lady at check in was rude but a over all good experience other than that. Very close to the airport and convention center and restaurants. Rooms were very clean and housekeeping staff were friendly
Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Lots of noise from traffic. Hotel shuttle was excellent. Breakfast was OK. Fine overall for one night.
They charged my credit card 192.96 for room and "incidentals". Considering I paid Orbitz 201.00 for the room I was double charged. I will get the former removed my money is still on hold. This is my first, and, last time I will use Orbitz or any of the same type of services. I will also not recommend this Best Western.
Bad smell, old elevator, elevators don't look safe. don't have enough sheet and blanket.
Tired from late flight, no fee for transport to hotel. Quick easy check in.
