Excellent boutique hotel. Top notch staff especially front door greeters Antonio & Vincent who both went the extra mile to ensure your needs were attended. Was upgraded to a suite when check-in was slightly delayed. The river view! The window seats! The varied lounging and dining options! Bed was cozy. Bathroom well appointed. Fireplace in lobby was perfect gathering place. Will return next time I'm in Chicago.

I had a generally comfortable stay at the L7 by Lotte. The hotel itself is immaculate, sleek, modern, and very welcoming. The atmosphere felt warm and safe, and my room was spacious with an extremely comfortable bed. Even with a street view instead of the river, the view was still quite nice, though the exterior windows could use a cleaning. There were a few issues that affected my overall experience. Being on a lower floor, the noise from the street traffic, people, and the train was excessive at times and continued into the night. It didn’t seem like there was much soundproofing, which made it difficult to sleep. I had also requested a bath, but the tub was very short, more like a deep shower basin. In hindsight, I wonder if a room without the bath might have been on a higher and quieter floor. Some small but noticeable cleanliness issues included stains on the shower curtain and a used pod left in the coffee machine from the previous guest. The machine itself was also very loud, so I avoided using it early in the morning. Only four creamers were provided, and I wasn’t sure how to request more, so I ended up buying my own milk. I did appreciate having a mini fridge for that. One disappointment was that no breakfast was included, not even a continental option. While the restaurant looked lovely, I didn’t end up trying it during my stay. Also, I was not informed in advance about the $100 per night incidental hold, which might be helpful to communicate more clearly, especia

Fantastic!

Room was available our expectations! The window seats were awesome with fantastic views. Our daughter loved playing in them. Room was perfect for us! One thing to note for families with kids is the restaurant in the lobby doesn't have a kids menu (room service does offer kid options however). The restaurant in the hotel is delicious though! Only complaint was on the last day the room wasn't cleaned...bed was made and towels replenished but trash wasn't removed, coffee bar wasn't refilled, etc. Was not like that the other 5 days but worth mentioning I think. Outside of that one minor thing, our stay was fantastic and would recommend to everyone!

We had a 4 night stay for 3 . The fridge in the room was not very cold making us lose out on some of our snacks and left overs.I bought an expensive beer at the restaurant downstairs and it didn't keep . We purchased food from the restaurant in my opinion not the best choice and the drinks were way overpriced and not as fulfilling.try the Dearborn close bye instead .Unpaid about the same and had a MUCH better dining experience. The room description said we'd have robes but we never got any even after requesting them from the staff. The front door man Anthony Was amazing giving us recommendations and tips on where to eat and visit as tourists. The room needed more storage for clothing as we spent 4 nights there it was a bit difficult when your traveling as a family . The views were amazing as we stayed in a suite on the 12 the floor . An iron would have been a better option instead of a steamer . As again we didn't have a way to store our clothes and we had used up the 8 hangers provided by the hotel. If you are staying short term like maybe 2 nights I think you'd be fine but since we were there roughly 4-5 days it started to be an issue. Overall a great hotel great location close to everything especially the Riverwalk . I would return if it were a shorter trip I'd look elsewhere for a longer stay especially if you're traveling as a family.
