Close to everything super-touristy you'd want to do on a short weekend trip to Chicago.

we were there for a 24 hour layover and by staying downtown we were really able to see a lot of attractions - we did the navy pier and we also went ice skating at mccormik at millenium park. of course we took pictures by the cloud in the park and ate deep dish pizza. we walked all over and when tired quickly hopped a cab back to the hotel

Loved the location even if parking was expensive.

Great hotel with comfortable accommodations, great staff and in a prime location!

This hotel is very accessible from the CTA, it's within walking distance. Many shops, restaurants and attractions right in the area. Very welcoming staff. Everyone looks happy and friendly. This hotel is very sterile and pristine. Most of all great price. I could write about this forever but I don't have time. Just book your stay here; you will not be disappointed.

We decided to stay downtown after seeing Hamilton. The location is right in the middle of the city, lots to do and see and an easy walk to the theater district.

If you get the chance to include breakfast with your room, I highly recommend it. The buffet at the hotel is amazing and well worth the money.

Very accommodating, this will be my spot from now on!!!!

We stayed here for a long weekend and it was very nice. Room was large, updated with 2 queens and nice large tv with HBO. Beds were comfy with down blankets. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great store on 1st fl called Marketplace where we got bagels and coffee each morning and hot chocolate when we came back at night after walking around in the snow in the city. I've stayed in other hotels during my visits and haven't been impressed but would definitely stay at Hyatt again. Good location for theatre, museums and Loop shopping.

outstanding property in a great location. excellent food in courtyard restaurant (particularly smoked dishes which are large enough to share)

I could hear what another couple was doing (even what they were saying). It was more like motel, not 4 star hotel.

They made us check in with 30 minutes of late but gave us the chance to do late check out (1PM). The view from the room was amazing, beyond my expectations honestly, but the room itself was dusty and not what you should get nowadays for a 4 stars hotel. We had problems with the heater and Chicago in November is not really warm; the staff was nice proposing us another room where to move to but also that seemed to have the same problem. Gym and facilities in general are great so the position of the Hotel, we chose it because of that. All these hotels and not just the Hyatt, never did any renovation in decades so you would find the same rooms you used to find 20 years ago, that is why I would say is a good 4 ''old'' stars hotel.

Room 2309 was the best corner room with an amazing view!!!! Max who helped checked me in was above and beyond. A+ service because of him and even gave me some great Paris tips. Room was spacious for 2 ppl and all very clean. bathroom was clean and even had a little magnifying mirror with a light on the wall - never had this at any hotel before. Plus when Doing your makeup. Place is right near the magnificent mile and park. They have fresh fruit water in the lobby. Lobby is huge and super nice. There's also computers to print out your boarding passes right near check in for free. I would most certainly come back here and highly highly highly recommend this place to everyone I know!!!! This hotel really made Chicago amazing.

We stayed for the Chicago Marathon. The hotel was a $100 cheaper than anything around it. Quality was just superb.

Room was a little small, overall good hotel to stay at.

In town for Bears football, family get together and shopping.

Was greeted and assisted everytime I entered hotel. Staff was very helpful and kind.

The bed was amazing!!! Really comfortable. The location excellent! Everything walking distance: Tourist points, shopping, theatres, blues... definitely would stay there again.

Very nice hotel. I have stayed there several times. It is close to all my favorite stops. Hotel staff was great and very helpful. Rooms were very clean. This is my go to hotel in Chicago.

Great location will stay there whenever in Chicago.
