Had a great two nights, with a great view and a great rate. Will defiantly stay here again. The location was perfect.

Wonderful location, great rate and nice staff. Within walking distance of most everything. Will stay here next time I'm in Chicago.

Perfect location in Chicago, great price and very nice rooms. Pd an extra $20 for a view and it was well worth it.

Chicago weekend! We had a great time at the Hyatt Regency. Superb location for walking/dining/carousing. Hotel met our needs very well. Big comfy room and a view to die for-of river and lake.

Great. Friendly staff. Nice location by the river.

We bought a plane ticket+hotel package, so the room is discounted. First night the staff put us in a corner room on the lowest floor (3rd), which has a bed that quakes whenever you make the slightest move. The mattress should have been retired. What a shame they have such a terrible mattress in a "4-star" hotel. We asked to change room the next day and manager is willing to do so without hesitation. Then we got a room on 17th floor that has firm mattress. The interior looks new and the hotel is in great location. But their pillows are horrible as a star hotel.

Was able to get a reasonable rate for high quality although huge size of hotel was a little off-putting. Excellent customer service at front desk and bell staff,

This hotel sits right on the river in the heart of downtown Chicago. A great location for walking, river boat cruses or bus tours to see all the sites.

Convenient location near many restaurants, shopping, river walk, walking distance to the beach & many activities. Nice hotel lobby and quick stop store. Room was spacious. Snacks and drinks expensive in the room so I would recommend going to the quick store in the lobby instead.

Brought my daughter and her friend to Chicago for the Lolapalooza event. I would recommend to pay extra to have access to the room/facility where breakfast/snacks/appetizers/cocktail hour is included (although you have to pay for the cocktails). Definitely worth it. Look for Ms. Christmas -- she is awesome there - she was fun and entertaining.

Very nice hotel, didn't expect it to turn out like that. Friendly staff, would recommend to everyone.

Checkin (with a real person!) was pleasant and painless. I liked my room (one queen bed) and never felt during my stay that I was being treated like a woman traveling alone. MARKETPLACE near the checkin area was very convenient for getting coffee, bagels, salads, fresh fruit and more without having to make a trip out of the hotel. Within the past year, I had stayed at a nearby hotel, but found that the Hyatt Regency seemed less busy, despite the fact that many people were staying there. The large lobby makes a huge difference.

I travelled with my familiy and we did enjoy the hotel facilities despite of the room to improve cleanliness . The hair dryer was very old and worked poorly . Despite of that ,we would be back and recommend the hotel

Location was great. The lobby, restaurants, gift shop, etc. were all in good condition. Our room itself was in major need of an upgrade. The bathroom was filthy -- bathtub drain was clogged, shower curtain was stained with brown residue (gross) and towel hanger on the wall was broken. The walls and flooring were old and worn, both needing to be upgraded. The bed was comfortable, but my sheets had two quarter-sized rips on them. We also got downgraded, which I didn't appreciate. We pre-paid for two queen beds and high-floor room with a view. The front desk initially told us we would be on the 22nd floor, but a few minutes later, handed us our keys for a room on the 7th floor. We questioned why we were moved to the 7th floor and was told that apparently no high-floor rooms were available until 4 or 5 PM. Tired and jet lagged, we begrudgingly went to our room on the 7th floor which had a not-so-lovely view of a fire station that also woke us at all hours of the night.

My partner and I both left with severe neck and back pain from the pillows at this hotel. I would advise that you bring your own pillow. Feels like we paid 300 just to then go see a chiropractor.

Driving to the facility was a little difficult. Turning on to Wacker I missed the vehicle entrance. Better entrance directions could be added after the reservations are confirmed.

Stayed for 1 night, and it was really clean, and well kept. The staff were so friendly, and very accommodating.

Can't beat the location of this hotel! Central to everything! You can walk, bike or Uber to wherever you want to go. Great restaurants in and around the hotel! Two employees really stood out during our stay-the gentleman that checked us in and our server at The Big Bar. Both enegaged us in conversation but in a way that had personal touch! Rooms are good sized and the bed is pretty darn comfy!

Nice hotel, friendly staff; good restaurants; not very close to conference center, but no downtown hotels are. Chicago's a really friendly, walkable city, with lots to see and do.

There for the NRA. I was treated with professionalism by every staff member from check in to check out
