good location for the event
It was a lovely facility. Staff was very accommodating and courteous. There was one restaurant open and it had breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Super walkable area to lots of restaurants and activities (Millennium park, Art Institute, etc).
View was great. We had a lake view. It was all I could ask for. TV was in a weird place on the side of the bed. But used to have a refridgerator in it and no longer does. So that part was disappointing. Other than that it was great
Location
Great stay
The view was amazing and the location was great being within walking distance to all the great tourist spots. We felt safe and were able to get where every we wanted to go rather quickly. Only downside was that our rooms were not cleaned regularly, but for a 3-night stay it wasn’t too bad.
Typical hotel in Chicago great location to walk to locations in area. Just make sure if you get with parking to do valet no one told us that was the free one so ended up paying for parking in ramp that couldnt be reimbirsed :( Rooms average views of city were great
I change my room 2 times because of the room plan
Location is great. Housekeeping didn't clean the room one single time. Just there for two nights but expected at least some thought of cleaning/refreshing towels.
The food and service were mediocre at best which made the prices (too high for the quality delivered) disappointing. Also. No refrigerators was annoying. The 24 hour market was strange, too. The ambiance was fine as long as the Big Bar’s music wasn’t competing with the American Craft Kitchen. It was nice to get a 1pm checkout.
Dark dates rooms
I didn’t like the fact that nobody comes in to change your sheets and give you new towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and body wash. The phone to front desk wasn’t working either.
Clean, nice rooms. Great staff and perfect, central location close to all lines of the L/food/Riverwalk, John Hancock and Sears tower!
I don’t like the new policy of not having maid service every day, we are paying for it you don’t charge us less for not doing it, the pandemic excuse is getting old, we are not in the room when they are supposed to make the bed and clean the bathroom and get fresh towels, also the parking QR never worked it was a hassle to get in and then to get out, unnecessary hassle for a hotel of this class😡
Location is great with so much within walking distance. Parking in the garage at 111 E Wacker worked out for us, arriving a bit before 5 p.m on a Friday- but noticed when we returned to the car around 5:45 that others were having trouble finding a spot. Didn't hear much noise at night even though it was a weekend.
