The view from our room was excellent. The staff was extremely helpful.

Nice Hotel, with an absolutely dysfunctional media in room. You need an IT degree to get it to work. Phone was intermittent. All staff laughed and said they couldn’t work it as well. Engineer came up, scratched his head. Claimed they fixed it, then it froze every 15-20 minutes, needing to be shut off and turned back on.

We were very pleased with the hotel room. It was very nice and close to everything! We would definitely book a room there again.

Requested a room with a view. Didn’t get one. Computers were down. Check in took forever. Staff was great though.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful location - but the minibar was stocked full of sensors so I couldn't store any cold items or leftovers. Very annoying.

Very nice hotel in a good location in Chicago. I love the hotel bar, great view and excellent people watching. The hotel has been renovated recently and is clean and has very comfortable beds and pillows.

I lvd this hoyel. The staff was helpful and the lobby gorgeous.

The views were impeccable! I was able to see the river and then Lake Michigan. The staff was great and the response times on the requests for additional towels was great! They also upgraded us for my wife's birthday!!

Everything was outstanding; rooms, location, staff, etc.

My 15yr old daughter and i were visiting the city. At 8pm we decided to watch a little TV and get to bed. Soon after around 10pm, a man claiming to be hotel security was banging on my room door. Insisting i open the door, although he would not give a name, would not show ID, and would not say why. Through the eye hole on the door all i could see was a black man in a suit, no ID or name badge or Hyatt identification. He said i needed to open the door and i had no reason to be afraid. I left the bar latched and opened the door and he still offered no ID or name and had no badge on. Gave no info accept he could hear my TV. I said of course you hear it, you’re standing in the door way. I had my daughter lower it and i shut the door immediately. In the morning i informed the hotel manager who promised a phone call back to me at noon and I’ve heard nothing. I provided him with my email, phone number, name, and complete description of the events. I’ve heard nothing yet from anyone at the hotel. Needless to say, i will NOT be revisiting the Hyatt Regency in East Upper Wacker Drive in Chicago.

Great location and really comfortable rooms. Helpful having restaurants on site. Good workout room.
