Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable, beautiful view. I will recommend to any one who travels to Chicago. I will stay there on my next trip to Chicago.

Could not adjust heat and cooling. Water was as slow as running water through a straw with very little pressure. Poorest room I’ve had in years. Would Not recommend. I asked to have heat cooling problem addressed and it was not corrected.

I was charged $146.01 for mini bar purchases on 4 days. Funny thing is the maid was only in the room 1 day and my gf and I don't drink alcohol. I used the refrigerator for items we brought with us but returned all of their items to the refrigerator when we checked out.

The staff was terrific. Restaurants and Bars were very good and wait staff on the ball, very attentive. I would love to stay there again when I come to Chicago.

Hotel is nice overall. Good location, walking distance to parks and restaurants. Friendly staff in restaurant, front desk, entrance, stores but no the house keeping, they were rude, constantly asking when we were leaving and if we need house keeping service. Also the room carpet looked dirty, they should replace it.

Wonderful airfare and hotel package with Orbitz. The Hyatt Regency was perfectly located (great walking distance to everything), had excellent staff (the concierge was fantastic!), had an excellent comfortable room and view.

This hotel is in a great location. Sandwiched between the Millennium Park, Navy Pier and Magnificent Mile, allowing us to walk to all three. The room had a great view looking down the river towards lake Michigan. My only issue was parking. They charge as much for parking as the room rental itself, doubling my cost. That was a bit of a shocker. My gut feeling is the other hotels in the immediate area due the same, but you may want to price out parking rates and take that into consideration when booking a room.

Close to everything you need to see in Chicago , staff very friendly, I would stay there again for sure.

The hallway light was out and I had to use the lamp lights for light. When I informed the front desk when I was checking I was not given credit nor discount for it.

Walking distance to many attractions. Hotel staff were very informative; from cab service to asking for directions, even asking about paying for bus fare. Everyone is just so eager to help. I had a great room with beautiful view. I traveled with my mother in law for the first time and she definitely approved.

Took daughter to see Hamilton for Christmas gift. Went to Millennium park.michagan ave, Lobby of hotel great......

Though it did not disturb my sleep, there was external traffic noise or a train going through tunnel type noise. Beds were soft, not to my liking.

Great location! A lot of amenities on site! Will definitely stay next time in the city.

Clean hotel, in downtown with views of the river. Close to Navy Pier and river walk.

We booked a room for 4 nights and were woke up multiple days by the house keepers yelling in the hallway. Our last morning we were awoken to the house keepers ramming a vacuum cleaner into the wall in the next room... over and over and over. One of the days we were getting ready to shower and we hear a single knock. We couldn't even tell that it was a knock at our door since the place is lacking insulation. 1 knock and then the house keeper tried to barge in as we stood naked in the room. Thanks goodness we had the extra lock locked. Needless to say we could hear every conversation that happened in the adjoining rooms. Maybe the snacks they over price wouldn't be covered in a layer of dust if they weren't so ridiculously priced.

NICE PLACE TO STAY! FRIENDLY HELPFUL STAFF! WALKABLE TO SHOPPING.

The location was great! Right by the river and shopping, safe and clean! My only issue was with the bed size, what hotel has double beds? My husband and I took our two kids, 11 and 16 and two double beds was not enough room!

Had a great two nights, with a great view and a great rate. Will defiantly stay here again. The location was perfect.

Chicago weekend! We had a great time at the Hyatt Regency. Superb location for walking/dining/carousing. Hotel met our needs very well. Big comfy room and a view to die for-of river and lake.

Great. Friendly staff. Nice location by the river.
