The so called suite needs to be remodeled. Furniture in room was old and scratched. TV didn't work most of the time. If you opened drapes all you could see was windows that are very dirty and full of spiders.

Hotel staff on strike so noise until late as protested outside. No maid service. Very slow Internet connection. No points because I booked through Orbitz. Overcharged me for minibar by several items that I didn’t consume. Large, vacuous and impersonal. Room was a very strange layout with bed facing the door. Only redeeming features were downtown location and view. Long line for coffee at peak rush hour times in cafe and checkout.

Really good big time hotel. Too many people to be really enjoyable. But the staff was uniformly very good, helpful and polite.

Honestly may be the best location in all of Downtown Chicago, if not the best it's in the top 5 locations.

We went to Chicago for our 40th wedding anniversary and the staff and hotel were awesome. We had not told anyone it was an anniversary trip until the hostess asked us what brought us to Chicago on the third day we were there. So we told her about our anniversary. She told her Manager and he comped our breakfast and brought us two beautiful desserts. They were all so nice. Thanks

It was quite a lovely experience except that the wi-fi was the worst I've had in a hotel. Unfortunately, I had planned on being able to get work done, but the cutting in and out of the wi-fi made it impossible. Nice place for a vacation, but not for a work trip.

We booked the hotel via Orbitz. On the next evening back to hotel, we were locked outside. Neither card key was working. While me joking with my hubby, we both must have forgotten about our room number. The next door neighbor guests were arriving at their room right after their check-in, and said you must have, because that room was the second room assigned to us! In disbelief, both families went down to the front desk. We were told by one of the staff Sophie (?) that we should have checked out earlier that day. We said no way, we have booked two nights at Orbitz. We were then told our booking somehow ended up to be in two different reservations and were told "it was Orbitz/Expedia's problem". Though we checked our reservation receipt and it does say 2 nights of stay in total. During our check-in, we were neither asked nor confirmed the number of nights of stay. We were not told that we "had two reservations". What happened next made me have to write this review. While another front desk lady tried to resolve the situation by finding another room for us, the "Sophie" person scolded her "What are you doing?! You are not supposed to do this.." The nice and poor lady responded "I simply want to get a room for the guests. They reserved two nights." Sophie continued to scold her. A few of us heard were shocked and did not know what to day. In the end we did get another room. We appreciated what the other girl did but felt sorry for her and were totally annoyed by Sophie!

Location, atmosphere, parking valet. We drove across the country and we found Chicago the most beautiful city on the way. We definitely plan a return visit to explore more music, art, and food. The people here are diverse and fantastic! Thank you Chicago!

Great hotel in the heart of downtown. Just a short walk to the Art Institute, Magnificent Mile and Millennium Park. Beautiful location, great service and amenities. Well worth the price!

Nice hotel, but for the price would be nice to at least get free coffee in the lobby and a fridge that isn’t jammed with minibar items that cost an arm and a leg. Also no pool. The Radission right across the street had a really nice pool. We could see it from our window.

This is the best Chicago hotel I've stayed in yet. It was great for adults and children. The staff was magnificent--professional, friendly, and beyond helpful! (Thanks so much to Linda, especially!) Everything is upscale, clean, and convenient.

Close to nice restaurants, shops, attractions, but hotel condition is a bit outdated in my opinion.

Location is great. Walking distance to magnificent mile-Michigan Ave, Navy Piet, Millenium Park, Riverwalk and many great restaurants and stores.

Great room ..clean spacious...nice bars and restaurants although they were pricey..helpful staff
