Great location. 1 block away from the CTA Red Line. Staff was friendly and attentive. The daily breakfast was great and the food staff was great. The highlight of the room was the full kitchen, which is great because you can buy small groceries and cook over the electric stove. Will definitely stay here again.
The property seems a bit run down. The breakfast was great, and the people working at the property were kind and pleasant. The property just needs some TLC in terms of the overall condition.
Located in the heart of downtown so you’re surrounded by tons of dining options. Disliked how difficult it was to get in touch with someone about rates for my daughter’s medical procedure. Also, we had to request a new comforter because the one we had was musty!
Ĺiked the friendliness of the workers
We have been in more than 10 hotels in Downtown Chicago and this is clearly the best among them.
Nice place to stay with family. Location is close to Michigan ave
So, I hate to give negative feedback. I should have gone downstairs and asked for a new room. But I was on the 17th floor. Me being simple thinking about penthouse suites and such thought I'd be getting a better quality room. Surprise! Room completely a wastedump. The bed surprisingly was one of the only surfaces I allowed myself to come into contact with. The floor has two big brown "stains" on the floor near the couch. The couch looked worn. The bathroom had hair from the last visitors on the floor. I only stayed overnight and stayed out late so all I had to do was get dressed and leave next morning. I didn't feel comfortable enough to use the shower. The main lobby is nice. The breakfast next day was good but nothing to write home about. (If the room was clean my feelings might be different about the breakfast.) The elevators looked worn and had scratches on them. Overall, a 2 out of 5 experience. I've tried to block the memory of the brown stains (1706) on the floor out of my brain honestly. It was ok for an overnight.
It was a reasonable price and in downtown
Wish the gym and pool were open, but because of Covid they weren't
Nice location, easy walking distance to multiple attractions
We moved from the first room she to a smoke smell (cigarette) in the room. They were very accommodating and moved us to a new room. Then, another party on the floor was loud and smoking (marijuana). I was told I was going to be brought air fresheners and they would send someone to walk the floors. Not sure if someone walked the floor but we were never brought air fresheners. The smell came in waves as they were constantly smoking. The next morning the smell came back stronger. I let them know and they said they were a non smoking facility and they would have the managers walk the floor. Both encounters the staff was super nice but I felt like there was no follow through and the smell unfortunately occurred throughout our entire stay. This hotel used to be our #1 place to stay with our kids. We even recommended this hotel to our family and friends. We will not be doing so anymore and this wteekend was our last weekend that we will stay at this property. The pool is also still closed which I did know about prior and was told we would get bagged breakfast instead of the continental. The pound cake, nature valley bar, and yogurt was a bit of a disappointment as well. Not sure why bagels with cream cheese or something more substantial wasn't an option. The staff has always been kind and friendly but unfortunately that doesn't outweigh the cons that were experienced.
El desayuno fue lo único que no me pareció acorde con el precio
easy access to the surroundings and a pleasant atmosphere in the hotel
This place was a disaster. Check in was inconvenient. No one offered to help with your luggage. Had to go to the 6th floor for lobby to check in and then come back down to unload and bring it up to your room and then come back down to park your car in a parking garage across the street. Loud people partying and yelling all night. You’re supposed to have a key to go up the elevator except for the lobby, but there were just random sketchy people waiting for you to come in the elevator and just come up with you. There’s only security at night but the guy just sat there and wasn’t really doing his job. Essentially, anyone can come in and out of the building, I didn’t feel safe at all. No Covid protocol, crowds of people in lobby, in elevator, and huge groups of people coming in like they were there for a big party. Staff was not helpful. Did not offer luggage help. Parking was off site in a separate parking garage, full of random homeless people coming in and out asking for food and money. Room had a couch that was disgustingly brown and full of stains. The room looked like it’s been through the weather. Wouldn’t stay here again.
Ghetto hotel. First time last time. I was surprised since it was Hilton’s hotel. Dirty and cheap.
