I booked for one night in order to attend an event downtown. The room came up on Orbitz that morning and I booked it. Check in was fast (about 2 minutes) as they had all me info from Orbitz. The staff was friendly. Parking was an additional charge, but had in and out privileges. ( I booked at the same hotel in the winter and parking was included, so check when making the reservation). Room was clean and had a view south.

Pros: - Not a bad location, just a quick Uber ride to down town and other attractions near by - Room was nice and clean, we didn't pay premium price for our room so didn't expect to get a great view (and we didn't get it, our view was a giant water tank? and the amtrak) - Good staff for the most part, nicest people were the valet they kept checking on us every time we're there waiting for our Uber, really friendly people - All the amenities were good, never had issue with in room internet (which was a huge thing for us considering we have had this issue with many different hotels), having the fridge was a nice bonus. Cons: Their website advertised complimentary parking for AAA member which I am, but upon checking in, the front desk person said she has no idea what I was talking about and said she can only give me a small discount for that instead of it being complimentary. I offered to show her exactly on the website where it says that but she acted like she didn't want to see it. There was a long line of people behind us and I didn't want to make this an inconvenience for all of them so I just ended it after she refused to honor it. Honestly we were already expecting to pay for parking anyways, but was very excited to save ourselves 72 dollars for 2 day parking when we saw the advertisement on their website. If they're not going to honor it, why bother putting it there?

Close to downtown but not "in" downtown. Clean, great stay

This place is nothing but class. From when you walk in to your room. I stayed here for a concert at Soldier field and it was walking distance. The room also had an unexpected view of Lake Michigan that was nice. If you are going to stay here, many touristic stuff is close on the lake, however, the city is a 20 minute cab ride away. Also, there is ALWAYS traffic. Seriously, at anytime.

It is hard to beet the convenience of the hotel which connects directly to the massive McCormick Convention Center, but if you are there for a Convention large enough for that venue expect very large crowds in the hotel. The green line "L" is just a half mile away, the Field museum about a mile, and there are plenty of cabs and Uber, but you aren't close to anything. There are only two small restaurants in the hotel, a bar and a Starbucks and the lines can be very long. The food is nothing special, and neighborhood restaurants are not close. The staff is particularly friendly, helpful and accommodating, the rooms modern and well maintained.

Good but dissappointed that they dont provide free parking and breakfast.

It was great visit to Chicago! We had a blast! Very nice hotel and location!

Everything was wonderful from the time of check-in to the time of checkout. The staff was very friendly the location was great, I never heard any noise at night, it is very refreshing when you're staying in a big city to still get a good nights sleep

Very convenient for McCormick events. very nice staff and comfortable rooms. I will stay here again next time I am in town for business. Thank you!

Had to fly in on a red eye which meant I got to the hotel around 4am. With check-in not until 3pm, I was going to have to find something to occupy me until my meeting started and then maybe find a way to sneak out, to check -in and freshen up later. But au contraire mon frere! As soon as I walked in the chipper desk clerk welcomed me and within minutes I had my room key and was headed up to a very welcome bed for a quick catnap and shower! The room was clean, comfortable, QUIET and a fantastic start to my 48hr whirlwind visit.

We were frankly shocked that the room only had a cooler in it, not a real refrigerator! We didn't even realize someone would bother manufacturing (and then buying) such nonsense. The room/hotel was nice, so it seemed like such a stupid place to try and save money. There was also no microwave, and since we had kids with us, the combination of those 2 made this hotel a place we were glad we were only staying one night.

The room was amazing with a great view. Staff was so friendly as it was our first time in the city! I needed some toiletries that I had forgotten at home, and mentioned it when we were checking in, they had the items brought up to the room, waiting for me when we got up to our room! I only wish we would've booked it for a second night! AMAZING!!!

great hotel and location. staff were friendly and cordial.

great staff, great rooms, great overall experiance.

Stayed here for the President's speech. It was convenient to the venue, a bit further than I'd like to other things but still super close.

Close to all major Chicago venues, I'm from Chicago so it was very easy to get around and close to public transportation

Good amount of entertainment in hotel during extreme cold. Most on site restaurants closed during week however.

My arrival was early and I was able to check into my room. My room was very good, except that the light in the closet must have been shorted out because it kept coming on sporadically. The room was clean and nice, although it became difficult to sleep because of the loudness of the doors and lack of sound proofing. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

stayed one night for work. Great for the conference, but far from downtown

Staff was very friendly and very helpful, everything was clean and not too far from downtown.
