Arrived before check in. Staff greeted us like old friends. Gave us a choice of beverage and snacks. The room was ready in 15 minutes—before 4 PM., clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious—a variety, fresh, and more than ample. The hotel is a perfect location for shopping on State St, Millennium Park, and restaurants galore. And, of course we walked next door to the theatre to see “Hamilton.” Perfect!

Amazing experience. Great location. In center of downtown. Close to major attractions like Willis tower , 2blocks away from millenium park.Friendly staff. Parking available nearby(not in hotel).Overall excellent experience.

Very friendly staff. Great location, walking distance to everything I needed. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a great location for downtown activities in Chicago. You can walk just a few blocks to Millennium Park, shopping, restaurants, and more. There are bus and el stations just around the corner, or you can try what we did: buy a day pass for the "Divvy" bike sharing system and ride up and down the lakefront trail to the museums and Navy Pier. If you are catching a show at the Private Bank Majestic Theater (you know the one!) there's no place better to stay, since you can skip the outdoor line and walk right through the hotel entrance into the theater lobby. We utilized valet parking for just a few dollars more with no problems. Our room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was the same nice quality you get at most Hampton Inns. All in all, a great location for our weekend city adventure.

My daughter and I stayed here after attending a theatre performance next door. The hotel was small and a little outdated, but it was clean and comfortable. The hotel was very quiet which was a plus. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety. The staff accommodated my request to stay just a little past the checkout time.

When we knew we were going to take in "Hamilton" we decided to stay in the city overnight. We searched the hotels, and by chance found the Hampton Inn Majestic. While we could have found a less expensive hotel, why bother? We didn't even have to bring our coats, as the Hampton is right off the the theater's lobby. At the final curtain, all the rest of the audience was scrambling for their coats and to get to their parking garages, we just strolled back to our rooms. What a pleasure!

Feet from the private bank theater – Hamilton. Price was a good value for the location.

Room in same building as old Majestic theater, very nice, large clean and quiet. Complimentary breakfast was decent. Wish parking was cheaper, but that's downtown Chicago for you. Highly recommend for theater performances.

Convenient, clean, friendly staff. Highly recommend!

the hotel is relatively small considering the old building it is in but it's central to a lot which is convenient. The hotel staff was very helpful in getting us checked in early. I had a king bed with a sofabed so it was a bit roomier than the regular king beds. No views but overall comfortable room. Shower water pressure could use some work but it was clean

The hotel is nice, only 9 rooms per floor so you get very little traffic on your floor. The rooms are smaller than other hotels but they are very comfortable. Since I don't spend much time in the room, this did not bother me anyways. A good size desk for work and a chair and small table to sit in to read made it a nice setting to relax. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. So many times I get people that act like me asking for help is a nuisance but the staff here was always helpful and courteous. The elevator is secure, you need your room key to access the floors which is good. Walking distances to many places downtown and if you are flying in, save yourself $40 in cab fare, take the Orange Line train, it drops you off two blocks from the hotel (Adams/Wabash)

The first night it turned cold and the heat was not on in the hotel. However, they found a portable heater. The heat was on the next day.

It was our first time in Chicago and my wife and I were pleasantly surprised about how quiet this hotel was given its location down town. We didn't hear any outside noise all night and very little noise from other rooms or hallway. The staff was friendly an accommodating, the breakfast was good, and the location was perfect for us. Within walking distance of almost everything.

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful . Have good time while staying there.

The location was ideal for getting to the places we wanted to see. The room was clean, and comfortable. The staff directed us as to which bus to take and we easily got around town.

This was a last minute reservation and I couldn't have been happier with the location and accommodations! Very close to public transit and Chicago's tourist attractions. I highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect location. Very clean throughout. I felt like I was walking into a time machine back to the roaring '20s when I entered the lobby. I mean that is a good way. I felt like a movie star. Everyone was courteous. The marble architecture was fabulous. The room was amazing updated to a modern style. It was the best of both worlds.

Great location. So centralized to everything. Great room with cool views. The free wifi and breakfast was just the cherry on top. Stay here! Great value. Great staff!
