I enjoyed the overall condition and friendly staff. I was disappointed that i could not store or heat leftovers from my restaurant visits. I did not like the location of front desk check-in being inside the bar. Very noisy and had to shout to communicate.

Prime location and beautiful hotel. Had a bit of sticker shock with on-site food and amenities, but overall a wonderful experience.

Very good staff , audibility is bad - you can heat what talk in the next room

The location and view were great but the property lack the ability to provide a fridge, coffee maker and microwave due to the high demand.

Location of property was great! The overall condition of the property was deplorable . Only one elevator was working Had to contact staff to deliver a mini fridge It appeared the hotel has not been renovated for years Parking was outrageously overpriced Will definitely be spreading the word via social media

The location! Loved that just a short distance from the hotel is a walkway that goes under highway so that you can walk to Navy Pier and access the Ohio Street Beach! Safe area as well. Just a few blocks opposite way is Michigan ave. Shower is hotter at night but for obvious reasons as more people shower early morning. Elevators are slow but having 33 floors I can see why they take a little longer. Also one elevator seemed to be down while we were there. Decor was nice in the room. Great lighting. Bathroom was a little small but had everything I needed. We will definitely stay here again! I wish there would be a regular menu of what is offered in the restaurant because I seen the Room service menu and we ended up ordering Grubhub in for breakfast. Next time we will dine in as their prices are comparable to most restaurants.

Food is horrible and extremely expensive for $19 for a cup of coffee, total rip-off

The website stated check in is at 3pm, why so late? Why not 7pm. Anyways I got there at 245 and they told me the check in time has recently changed to 4pm. This morning I had some time to kill before my flight, me and my partner are just sitting in the room, “enjoying” the room when we I realized there was a bed bug crawling on my pillow, 1 foot away from me. So much for ease and or cleanliness. I feel gross thinking I was “enjoying” a soft bed with bedbugs last night

Restaurant and room service are deplorable extremely expensive an American coffe in the room $18

It’s a beautiful property *******************************

Nice relaxing place to stay. Wish they had a hot tub though.

The property is dated but seems to kept clean. Might visit again.

The hotel was very trendy and nice the room wasn’t so clean however the shower was dirty there was food under the sofa left over Oreos. The pillows are down pillows and not comfortable but they were nice.

Pool was not available. Our cable tv was not viewable due to poor bandwidth. No refrigerator unless requested.

Nice hotel right next to the Navy Pier and located within walking distance to tons of places! However, the beds were terrible to sleep in, no refrigerator (what hotel doesn't give you a fridge!?) and when checking in, the valet (you don't have a choice) stands there and watches you fumble to get everything out of your car while you pile everything in a corner so they can take your car.

It wasnt the best, I loved the location. I felt that the staff was kind of rude at times. It was like I inconvenienced them at times. Definitely didn't feel like I was a valued client for spending $600 on a room for a short stay in Chicago.

Good Afternoon, I hope your weekend is off to a good start and this finds you well. I am reaching out regarding your stay with us at the W Chicago Lakeshore. It is disappointing as a leader to hear that we fell short of your expectations during your time with us, that is not what I would have hoped for you nor expected from the W team as a whole. I will be passing your feedback along to our restaurant managers so that they are aware and can address the specific items that can be improved. Thank you for bringing your opportunity to my attention, it is genuinely appreciated as feedback is the best way we have to continually improve both the level and type of service we are providing to our guests. If you do return to Chicago and offer us the opportunity to host you once again, which I sincerely hope you do, please reach out to the property directly and we will do everything in our power to make sure your stay is as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Warmly, Alexa Asmus Welcome Manager/W Chicago Lakeshore
