We had a difficult time with the check in process as I had filled a form out for my card to be charged before our arrival. I gave a different card for the incidental charges when we arrive and I was charged a second time for our entire stay. The hotel did offer us room service credit and the limited breakfast each day we were there to make up for the inconvenience. The breakfast was not good and had hair in it one morning. The food was not the best. We had a room overlooking the lake and that was nice. Housekeeping was great some days and not on other days. The hotel is located in a good area. They did credit my card back but it took several days to be receive that and our trip was almost over. We would stay somewhere else next time we are in Chicago.

This hotel used to be a W property. Definitely has that feel. Was here with coworkers and industry colleagues for a conference. Staff were professional, and there was a decent bar in the lobby with perfectly good food.

I booked a room months in advance for New Year’s Eve I get to the wade hotel and my room was given to someone else so they gave me a low level room as a replacement. The reason they gave me was that they were overbooked but how could that be if they gave me a replacement room.

Great staff and very clean. The restaurant has great food and great service. Very small bathroom. The two queen room we stayed in would have been very tight, had there been four people. Beautiful view
