Check-in was delayed by 3 hours because the room was not ready. This caused us to have to change our evening plans.

Everyone went above and beyond. I will definitely stay there again.

Very nice hotel. Staff are friendly and courteous. Room is ckean and in excellent condition. However street noises are not quite subdued at least in the room we stayed.

Room was modern and comfortable. a small hiccup at check in when they gave us two Queens vs. a King bed, but they quickly remedied once I called down to front desk. Didn't like that the manager on duty told me I had to show "proof" that we reserved a king bed, it was in our reservation but they resolved quickly and efficiently. Great location, a little loud with street noise but hey its down town Chicago. A great overall experience!!

Close to shopping, dining, and activities!!!! It was in the middle of everything Chicago!

The hotel manager was such a great help! We had difficulty checking in and he made the check in process seamless and easy. I would definitely stay there again.

Never had stayed at Centric before. Very stylish. Service was great. Location is wonderful. North Michigan Ave. Plenty of shopping and dining in the area. A couple blocks from lake. Not a bad hike to the river and millennium Park but also close to the activities north of the city (beach, Park, zoo...) We stayed in a corner king with two young kids. Plenty of room for everyone. The city view was great. Room was spacious and well appointed. Pool is really small. Ten people and it would be too packed. The gym is great. One word of caution. The drinks at the bar are PRICEY. My Manhatten with average bourbon cost $18! Ouch.

The hotel was clean, the lobby was nice and the staff was friendly. They offered support with all of our requests, even holding our bags after check out giving us the time and flexibility to explore the city more before departure. But the beds are hard! And the pillows are not so good either. Sadly this was very disappointed given that we paid good money for the hotel. We asked for extra pillows but did not help- they were either too soft or too hard. We were walking an average of 10 miles per day and we started to drag going to be given how uncomfortable it was. Also on the description it said room with a view and we had a brick wall instead. The hotel was overall great and I would recommend for its location and how clean it is.

The place was amazing! Everything was amazing! The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. The room service staff was also very kind!

After we unpacked our bags, unloaded them (while the bell boys just watched) and asked the valet to park the car, we proceeded to the front desk. The man at the desk said, we have bad news, we're overbooked by 50 rooms and will be sending you to another Hotel. WHAT. Not only did they send us to another hotel, it was a much older, busier, dirtier hotel. We went from 4 stars to 2. They offered to pay for the room, but it was such a disappointment. We'd been planning this trip for months and had never been to Chicago before. how on earth does a hotel overbook by 50 rooms, then not say anything until you're at the desk with your bags? I'd NEVER recommend this hotel and I will NEVER be back.

Refunded a night when overbooked, while also arranging another hotel.

You guys are great! Many extra points for helping us out when we accidentally booked for the wrong day. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

All staff on site were extremely accommodating throughout our stay. It was my children’s first trip to Chicago and they made sure that it was a memorable one for them by going out of their way to make a special connection with my daughter. The front desk went out of their way to acknowledge that it was her first trip to the American Girl Store. This is what great service looks like and we will make sure when we do return to Chicago that we stay here again.

Perfect 👌 I used one word to explain how I felt that word is perfect 👌

We had a great experience at the hotel after having a delayed train of 7 hours. We were offered an upgrade to our room which was well worth it. We would definitely stay there again!
