We were happy with this place. It was a perfect location and provided all the basic needs/wants. But, there were some minor things we disliked. There are drinks and snacks in the room available for purchase but prices are steep. There is room service for breakfast lunch and dinner but yet again the prices were very steep, as in twenty dollars for eggs, bacon, and toast. You pay for wifi if you want it in your room, but it is free in the lobby. It was a beautiful place, beautiful room. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were approachable but not very welcoming. We had a room right by the elevators so the noise level was a little higher when people were coming and going you could hear it in the room. Overall however we enjoyed the hotel and our stay.

Was a nice little hotel. Could use more ammentities Expensive parking

The hotel is located close to Water Tower and the Mag Mile. The king rooms are wonderful, spacious, clean, luxurious and the staff is very helpful. The wifi is an additional charge and not much of a nightlife in the bar. Otherwise we always enjoy our stay here.

Nice rooms, quaint hotel, comfortable bed. Stayed in a Jr Suite, which was definitely worth it. Roomy, nice room design, comfy bed and quality bathroom. Location is perfect: swanky restaurants and bars nearby, a medium walk from Navy Pier, seconds from Michigan Ave, close to Eataly, Nordstrom, and not far from the Theater District, Loop, or River North areas. Stay here and be close to it all.

Every time I go to Chicago, I definitely choose Ivy Hotel to stay. The location is so close to the Michigan Ave. The price and service are pleasant.

This hotel did nothing but exceed our expectations! They upgraded us for free to the king size room and it was so amazing! Room service and guest services was very quick! This is a smaller boutique hotel and look forward to coming back when the rooftop is open! You can't go wrong with choosing this hotel!!!

The Staff was prompt, courteous and friendly. The location was perfect for my needs and situated near some great restaurants and locations of interest. Navy Pier was only a short walk and i always enjoy the City of Chicago.

Loved everything about this hotel. I would recommend it to anyone traveling to Chicago.

Ivy Hotel is in the right spot to enjoy Chicago shopping, restaurants, theatres and hotspots. Being a boutique hotel, The Ivy has a special feel to it - cozy and comfortable. With only a few rooms per floor, there is a lot of noise in the hallway due to the bed location to the door. Platform bed is a cool idea but I ran into the corners several times. The bathroom was the highlight - large, and the rainfall shower was great. Suggestion to hotel - bathroom needs better lighting or a lighted make up mirror. Staff? hmm. Arrived in rain and sat in valet parking for ten minutes until we finally got out of the car to get a doorman to check us in (and no one else was waiting). We then waited at least 5 minutes at the desk while check-in person was on a phone call with no acknowledgement we were there. Again, no one else waiting. On the sky deck, it took 15 minutes to get 2 drinks on a Sunday afternoon, an hour after opening, and we were the only customers. Probably wouldn't return but it served the purpose at a good price.

Nice. Loved the ease of exit and entry too. I'll stay here again.

Great location and walking distance or quick cab ride to the best of downtown. Navy Pier, Water Tower and tons of places to eat. $52 a night for valet parking. The cheapest open parking lots were $40. Valet parking u can take your car in and out all day. Very comfortable bed and awesome rain shower. No microwave or mini fridge except for alcohol. Great staff and very nice size rooms. TV in the mirror over the sink.

The hotel was quite trendy but rather overpriced . However, it offers a modern and swanky rooftop bar/lounge that overlooks the city. Side Note: the hotel borders a residential neighborhood.

Hotel was good. Good staff and you can't bear the location. It is great to be able to walk to a lot of the hot spots.

On my top 5 list. Awesome location! And the rooms were awesome!

Ok hotel. Beds comfy. Bathroom smelled very wet. Valet took a long time.

The Ivy is well located just off Michigan Avenue. It ha a quiet lobby where you can have a drink, but if you aren't looking for a scene, it is perfect. My room was spacious and well laid out in boutique minimalism. I will definitely repeat.

Great boutique hotel. Perfect location just one block from Michigan avenue. Modern room with very comfortable bed. Very clean. Service is outstanding. Bar on the first floor has a nice selection of drinks. A lot of restarants and cafe around. I will defiantly recommend.

This boutique hotel rivals every Vegas hotel I've ever been to. It was just a standard room with a queen bedroom and separate living area but everything was so clean and beautiful. The bathroom was beautiful, as ours came with an overhead waterfall showerhead and large bathtub. Staff was friendly and helpful as well. Would definitely come back here again.

It was just so nice to stay in Ivy. I chose that hotel a bunch of times because of its nice service and room cleanness. But the biggest reason I'll recommend this hotel is its location is so near to Michigan Avenue!

We had a king suite, & it was great. Had a soaking tub, & the bed was amazingly comfortable. The staff was very pleasant & eager to help. Within walking distance of pretty much everything.
