The staff was very matter of fact and the room was more tired than I was. TV did not work and seems to be a simple thing to get right, especially for the rate this property can command. However - Location Location Location. You can not beat the convince to ORD, simply walkout the hotel.
disappointed that Hilton would not give reward points because room was booked through Orbitz
This is a great hotel that is connected to ORD. A quick walk from baggage and great staff! A tad overpriced, but location makes up for that.
I know I was staying for one night for a layover but I was more than disappointed in the lack of comfort for this being a Hilton Hotel. My bathroom had mold growing around the bath tub. The air conditioning was on in my room when I arrived and the windows were all frosted over with ice on the inside of the room. There was leftover pizza crust underneath the desk and it seemed the room was not vacuumed at all. There was no bottled water in the room - not even complimentary. The check-in took forever as only two people were checking people in and there was a line of at least fifteen people. I know it's hard to beat the convenience of having the hotel on the airport property but next time I would rather take a taxi or a shuttle to another hotel.
It's the airport hotel. You pay for the convenience. You sacrifice quality and value and there's nothing you can do about it.
We enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint is that the window let in so much cold air that there was ice on the inside of the window! We had to keep the heavy curtain closed the whole time to keep the cold air out of the room. Hilton needs to invest in more insulated windows.
Stayed here to save getting up early and driving in. Quick and easy to terminals.
nice room.....nice staff.....comfy bed.....coffee in room.....reasonable price.....
Very nice hotel within walking distance of the airport.
Very nice. Made my travels easier. Would recommend. Clean rooms and nice staff.
When I went to use the pool and spa I was told that would cost 22.50. Most hotels offer pools and spas for free.
Great place! Clean, friendly, easy check in! Best idea to stay at the Hilton! I will do it again!
Stayed overnight after a long flight from Europe. The hotel was a pleasant experience with comfort and space.
TV didn't work. Short overnight stay, couldn't fix tv in a short amount of time.
hotel is handy to airport, love the lay out, rooms are comfortable and beds of course are awesome!!
Typical 3 1/2 * airport hotel. Very convenient for travel in and out of O'Hare. And has a fitness and swimming pool. Somewhat worn out, but ok for a 1-night stay.
Had to over night at O'hare for a connecting flight. We knew we weren't getting in until 11:45 p and had to be back at O'hare by 7:15 a so we decided to try this Hilton. Very happy we did as it was very close & convenient. It's a bit pricey but saving time on not having to wait for a shuttle to and from another hotel we felt was worth it.
One night stay before an early-morning international flight. Convenient, clean, elegant room exceptional service from staff, dinner in hotel's Italian restaurant on-site was delicious (but expensive). Highly recommend.
After a day of planes, trains and automobiles we took sanctuary at the Hilton O'Hare as our trip would not continue until very early the following morning. We chose the Hilton due to its easy access to the terminal although it was easily $200/night more than off-site hotels that were available. Hey, it's Hilton, it's got to be good, right? The room was definitely dated and we did not have the now-famous Hilton bed...it was old world. We dropped off bags and went to the bar for a quick meal. Including tip, our bill for a salad, personal pizza and 3 glasses of chardonnay came to $120!!! Good grief. That was a Rodney Strong wine that I saw at the store today for $10....we were charged $21/glass. Guess we should have asked to look at the wine list! That's just robbery. Back to the room we realized the walls were paper thin when our neighbor carried on a long phone conversation. He finally ended and we fell asleep. At 2:45 am he was holding a meeting with other people in the room. A knock requesting quiet went unheeded. The hotel called to intervene which similarly went unheeded. While not the hotel's fault, it is their responsibility. We were offered another room at around 3:30 but we had to get up for flights at 4:30 so we passed. Hilton agreed to a refund which was generous but appropriate. We tried to turn the fan on in the room to generate white noise but it would not operate in a manual mode. The only good thing was the convenience.
