The Robey is an excellent hotel at a reasonable price. We ate there for a lunch and a breakfast. The beef sandwich was delicious. The breakfast was very good (my wife's veggie omelet was really good). We had cocktails in the Up Room and enjoyed the view. That is something you need to do. My wife used the gym next store while I relaxed. She said it was very good.

I have stayed twice at The Robey, this time for one week. It is in an excellent location, the staff are very friendly, and the amenities are great. The nearby athletic club, which gas can use, is particularly good asset. My only complaint has to do with lighting in the rooms. It is very dark in the room, even with all of the lights on. Also, even after all of these nights I still have not completely figured out the light switches, they’re a bit baffling. The rooms are also quite small, but I suppose that is to be expected in a dense urban location. Overall, while room size and the lighting are definite issues, I would still definitely recommend the place.

Hands down the best hotel in Chicago if you're looking for stellar service, food, and accommodations. The staff was friendly. The food was to die for. The rooms were so clean and had the cutest retro/art deco decor.

A nice surprise in a trendy area. Lots of fun places to eat in area. Very clean and modern rooms. Incredible views from rooftop. Great drinks at the lounge. Loved the cookies and infused waters. Shower gel was just meh.

Great hotel with a excellent vibe - a really nice change from the normal downtown hotels. Service was great! Neighborhood is wonderful, a lot of entertainment, eating and drinking options. Right on the blue line!

Visited with my 14 year old daughter and two of her friends for a concert at the Subterranean and they were super impressed, as was I. Will definitely be back to enjoy this amazing neighborhood in the summer.

Great stay at The Robey Hotel. It’s part of tgd Marriott properties. Comfy and quiet rooms with view of the Chicago skyline. Enjoyed fantastic meals in the cafe and cool views from the Up Room Bar.and lounge.

Our stay at the Robey was excellent! The location is insane, from the second you step out the door there are fun things to do, see, and eat. The CTA could not be more conveniently placed for our visits into downtown for the museums. Our room was immaculately clean, cozy in all the right ways, and had wonderfully thoughtful touches. (I loved the marpac so much, I bought one when I got home) Every member of the hotel staff we interacted with is incredibly friendly. Oh, and the view from the room is gorgeous.

Stayed one night while visiting my daughter who lives in Bucktown. The location is great for a fun North Side visit. The neighborhood is walkable and the train is right there to get downtown. Staff were great. Had an amazing breakfast at the restaurant--startlingly good.

Great place to stay. It’s right around the corner from the CTA blue line train from O’Hare airport. Restaurant was quaint with open windows for people-watching. There were great restaurants and there were some recognizable restaurants. Personnel was fabulous!
