1.No Refrigerator and staff's reaction of this discomfort 2.Can't be 4+ star hotel 3.room is too small 4.elevator and hallway is not clean 5.no drinking water, no ice

Had a good time at the hotel but we did feel the effects of what we thought was allergies. We checked the AC units in the room, however, and they were nearly black with dirt. Aside from that, everything else was fine.

The staff at Hotel Lincoln goes out of their way to make sure that you are happy and comfortable. I have stayed at a variety of hotels over the past 30 years. During that time , I have recieved the best customer service out of any hotel I have visited from the Hotel Lincon Staff. They truly go above and beyond. We will absolutely be staying here when we visit Chicago again.

We had a fabulous stay. Enjoyed the Lincoln Park Zoo, farmer's market and running near Lake Michigan.

Location is great. Rooms are small. No fridge. Rooftop bar is cool but we couldn't check it out as it's always mobbed with young partiers. $ Front desk staff is very good. Helpful in any way you need. $60 to park is not great.

I had to make a last-minute reservation in Chicago on the north side of town. All of the regular chain hotels that I usually stay at were either full or pricey. The Hotel Lincoln had great reviews and was in a perfect location for my visit. The staff was extremely friendly and even called my room to make sure that everything was OK. There is a bus stop right across the street , and the hotel is only a few blocks from the Lincoln Park zoo. The coffee shop in the lobby was a nice surprise. My room was clean and comfortable. There is a rooftop restaurant at this hotel with amazing views of the Lakeshore in the north side of town. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Upon check in desk attendant tried to charge me again for room stating I hadn't paid yet, but I had to show her multiple times I did and my receipt. She then said "Oh I need a card again for incidentals that will have a $100 hold for a couple days" I gave her a different credit card then I had paid for the room with because I didn't want the $100 hold on my debit account. My stay was over 1 week ago now and the hold is still on there and it's for $239 not $100... frustrating and to top it off she credited my debit card the room charge and then charged the full room price to the credit card I had given her for the incidentals! I wouldn't trust them with any of my credit information and now regretting it. Also they said they had over booked my room type and gave me a free upgrade to a junior suite, which was very nice except that the bed was as hard as a rock....floor was softer. Not a great location either...wouldn't stay here again especially due to the hassle and having to deal with the check in payment details for over 20 min. Also staff not very friendly.

Worn on the edges and corners but otherwise nicely appointed. Couldn't ask for a nicer front desk staff!

Staff were friendly, our room was small but clean. Bathrooms have no counters, making it difficult to get ready

Hotel is located right next to Lincoln park and near Old Town, great location for a tourist. It's a quaint hotel with a roof top bar. I wouldn't suggest this hotel with kids. Our room was tiny. I never saw one a child in the hotel. It was filled with 20 and 30 somethings. I would stay here again at the right price but it was not a very high end hotel. If you fancy, this is not it. :)

Overall terrific. Late late checkin no problem. Only issue seemed to be locating a soft squishy pillow as I had forgotten mine. Small rooms well designed to accommodate everything. Overall a wonderful experience. Again. Not my first time staying there.

All staff extremely nice Great hotel location Very clean

Great place to stay...affordable convenient and amazing rooftop.

Comfy, pleasant, lots to do around the area. The weather was misty to rainy but we still had fun visiting the zoo during the day and shopping. At night we found entertainment nearby and had a fabulous time. Will definitely be back!

Helpful and friendly staff with nice coffee shop in lobby, many restaurants and shops nearby

What a neat place to stay. It's an old hotel, but it has a lot of character. Lots of restaurants, cafes, and shops within walking distance. The top floor has a bar \ cafe with an awesome view overlooking the zoo and nearby parks. Very tasty hamburger! Small breakfast cafe downstairs with really good coffee.

Great front desk Marc or Van made us feel like family. The hotel was so clean and fresh. The roof top was perfect for breakfast and the coner suit we had was big and great views of Lake and city. Everyone that work at the hotel was professional and very sincere. My wife and I would stay here again with out a doubt

Hotel room had either bed bugs or lots of spiders, and traffic outside was pretty loud.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Lincoln. The staff was attentive and quick to help with recommendations for restaurants, etc. The rooftop bar had great views and the location in Lincoln Park was exactly what I was hoping for during my stay in Chicago.

Staff was excellent. Room was decent albeit small. Computer and internet access was extremely slow. Location was what made it for us. Close walk to various vendors. 30min walk to magnificent mile. Can also take bus 22 to Chicago ave and walk a couple blocks to mag mile.
