Just loved it will choose this hotel in the future when visiting Chicago.

This hotel was nice, great restaurant, visibly charming when walking in. However, when we exited the elevator on our floor where our room was, the floor was dirty. Walk past that, turn down the hall to our room and the carpet had a big ugly stain on it. I did mention the floor to the front desk, they told me it would be taken care of, but it never was. We stayed there 2 nights and the floor looked the same on the morning we left as it did when we arrived. The hotel was a bit farther from the Miracle Mile than I thought it would be also.

great location, and great staff. very nice stay of 7 nights, great welcoming cookie. the rooms smelled a little humid, because of the weather.

Center of downtown, easy to get around via public trans. middle of downtown, good location

Trip was great! Hotel stay was good except we were advised that a water shutdown from 9 to 12'would occur during our last stay at hotel. This was an inconvenience even after we were put on notice.

This is a nice hotel in a nice area. The ceiling over the tub was all it falling down, although there was signs of a poor patch job.

The hotel is 2 blocks off of Michigan Ave but still close enough to walk to everything or within a short ride. Staff was very nice and helpful although they disappeared late at night when we needed extra blankets. Definitely can't beat the value for a downtown hotel.

All the associates were very friendly and welcoming to guest. They always ask me if i need help and offer me a bottle water while I'm waiting for my pick up. Thank you Double Tree Magnificent Mile!

Chicago hotels can be expensive without always being great. This time I got lucky. A super low winter rate special, bonus hhoners points, room with a view. Definitely worth it.

Great room. Very comfortable space and respectful and cheerful staff. Accommodating to all our needs. The hotel is a 3 minute walk to all of the shopping areas on Michigan. less than a ten minute uber ride to The Bean and Navy Pier. Would recommend not bringing a car if on a budget as parking per night is between $40-60. Overall great stay and highly recommend.

Friendly staff n very helpful. RUBY was Great. Thanks RUBY !!! U ROCK GIRL

Great location. Close to shopping on Michigan Ave.

In addition to being very clean, modern, and close to the Mag Mile, the staff was especially polite and helpful.

I wouldn't recommend the hotel. The room was nice but the staff was less than desirable and the hotel itself seemed very dated. The carpet, the light fixtures all seemed bottom level cheap or from the 70's. The restaraunt was also a disappointment. I had to ask for my check 3 different times and never got a drink refill. I will not be staying here again.

Great location for downtown activities and nearby food options such as Whole Foods. Hotel nothing special and rooms getting dated.

This hotel is perfectly located. Staff is fabulous, friendly, informative! Room was very clean and comfortable! Want to go back now!!!

Disappointing stay. While my initial room was somewhat clean, the bed was uncomfortable and the room was next to elevators and a noisy ice machine. I did not sleep that night and requested a move. The second room was quiet but not very clean and had a musty smell. The carpet had some very dirty spots. I have stayed in some very good hotels in Chicago for less the cost at Double Tree and would not recommend this hotel. I got the feeling that the hotel reserves its "bad" rooms for guests who book through third parties because I was told I had not directly booked through the hotel when I wanted to switch rooms on my first evening. I am not sure what the front desk person meant by this.

Staff was very nice. Lots of dust behind furniture and under bed. Mattress was old and terrible. They don't offer free wi-fi unless you are an Honors member. Signal was spotty at best. For the money there are better options nearby

I stayed here before and had a wonderful experience. Before I booked it again this time, I did read some reviews and I don't understand any negative reviews that people might give??? The hotel is nice and clean. Staff is professional. Doormen are exceptionally friendly. Location is great. Our room was not ready 3 hours before our check in time, but we were able to leave our bags safely at the hotel and go out and enjoy the town. Definitely recommend.

We had a good stay in the double tree Hilton, but it is already an old Hotel, which would need to be renovated. The rating at Orbitz with 4.3 is way to high. The location is great, close to the magnificent mile and the Millennium Park.
