I liked everything

Hotel was clean, location was ideal for walking places, and not too rough. Only complaint is the temperature control in the room is either hidden or non existent.

Old architecture features were cool. Room were let's say, dated and crusty. Note parking is not really in site but in a garage next door with valet only. Was not pleased about that.

Had a great view of the fountain, location was excellent and easy access to the entire area. Love my room and the views.

We LOVED the beautiful view of Lake Michigan. We were able to check in slightly early and given a room on the 9th floor. Room was very comfortable but had issue with TV and phone. TV was taken care of quickly but the phone never worked over our three day stay. Other guests complained of the same issue. Due to Covid, room was cleaned every 2 days. Parking was next to hotel but NOT part of the hotel. Cost was $48/day and did not allow in and out. Overall, we loved the location, were able to walk to the beautiful fountain in the evening to enjoy the colorful music presentation. We have family in the area and will definitely stay in this hotel again!

Nice location, but the rooms are seriously in need up updating, soon.

The hotel has really not aged well, the ownership group is definitely not trying to make improvements or even attempt to provide basic services. The property is outdated and do not even try to use the "gym" that is a weird room with no windows, dirty old equipment and overall unclean environment.

Nice hotel.

The hotel is good but very old. Needs renovation. The rooms were not clean, breakfast hall was ok but the food was 2/10. They need a lot of improvement. We will not stay at this hotel again.

Thanks!

The hotel is dated. Thoroughly unimpressive and dingy. It may have been cool in 1963 but in 2022, it needs a major overhaul. Rooms are grimy and amenities are lacking.

We enjoyed the bar in the lobby along with the pool table. It was raining the night we checked in, so this was nice to do instead of just hanging out in our hotel room.

A beautiful, old downtown hotel. Rooms were great, food at the hotel was good (A small selection but still good). Only challenge is that the walls are very thin and it is possible to hear most everything that happens in the room next to you.

Excellent location and beautiful view

No parking had to pay $126 for 2 vehicles overnight in lot around the corner. No Heat control at all can’t sleep way to Hot even tho 18 outside 85 in rooms no way to cut down or off

I’m waiting for a refund. Place was falling apart

The property is outdated and the workmanship is poor on the renovations, but the staff kept it clean
