The rooms have no climate controls, so the preset temperatures on the unit is all you get. The equipment in the fitness rooms did not work, and the room itself was messy.

Staff was fine. No complaints there. Check in was good as well. The problem is the rooms. They are HOT. There was no thermostat in our room to control the temp so it was miserably warm. The window only opened a few inches so that didn’t help in November. The bed was hard as a rock. This is a shame because I would have rated them higher if it wasn’t for that. Also the 12th floor is haunted and the little kid spirit was running around. I didn’t sleep at all because of all of this. The location is good, but the parking situation is sketch and very expensive at $62/night.

This is a historic hotel and while the lobby shows well, the rooms are quite tired and not updated. We sprung for am 8th floor "suite" on the corner of the building. On the positive side, the view was great. Negative side: furniture was old and some pieces damaged, drains in sink and tub drained very slowly (didn't drain at all when we arrived and had to call maintenance), no temperature control, and old windows made for lots of noise from the street. Not impressed and won't stay there again.

Very cool historic hotel. Retains some of the beautiful old touches while updating the rooms with modern furnishings. Our room had very high ceilings and vintage doors and door hardware. Check-in was smooth.
