Excellent stay! Delicious breakfast! The hosts do everything to make your stay wonderful.

Service was excellent. Has mess kitchen stocked with homemade breakfast bars la croix waters coffee and tea. Staff had cute pugs and dachshund that hung in common room part of day. Good style choices in room. Highly recommend.

Great location near restaurant row, walking distance (between 1-1.5 miles) from the inner downtown loop. Great breakfast, WHEN YOU CAN ACTUALLY TAKE IT. They serve at regular breakfast hours, but if you happen to have to leave a bit earlier, in our case before 8:00 AM on a Saturday, then no accomodations are made for staff to help get breakfast, or access to the kitchen or cereals, fruit, etc. They suggest you save some leftover cake or pastry from the previous day (if any) for your breakfast the next day. Most nice places would help accomodate guests whose schedules may require that they leave before breakfast-especially since that is a strong selling point of a BNB. Therefore, while staff were certainly nice and pleasant, they were not particularly helpful or creative re accomodating this issue.

The hotel is beautiful. Kitschy and gorgeous. Super cozy and comfortable. Like staying at someone’s house. Only drawback are it can be hard to find staff at times and the heating/air unit frequently turns off and on through the night causing creeks and pops from the wood/floor settling. Made for an unpleasant night’s sleep.
