This used to be our favorite hotel to stay at in Chicago but it is obvious that they are no keeping up the property. No water pressure, no hot water, rust actually spewed out of the pipes which means lead, & broken counter tops & sprinklers in the room even after changing rooms.

Good area close to everything, nice staff Nice resturant inside the hotel Jakozy water has to be cleaned up

We had a very pleasant 2 night stay. I gave 4 stars on room cleanliness only because there was a pc of popcorn and a wrapper under the lip of the bed, overall the room was very clean. Staff and bell hop was very pleasant and inviting. Breakfast we ordered room service, 3 meals with beverages and 3 donuts cost $100.00, but I guess that's what's expected, you pay for the location you're in. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Staff could not be friendlier or more accommodating. Great restaurant in hotel and glazed donuts in lobby. Wonderful location. Pool and hot tub were a big hit

Great location. Great restaurant and bar. Oyster Bar across street was great

Back in Chicago to spend time with family. The hotel was the perfect place to slip away for some personal time.Facilities are lovely; the staff is outstanding. The location near perfect. It's hard to beat.

Just took my daughter to Chicago for Labor Day, loved our stay here. Staff was very friendly, gave us great suggestions for shopping and dining. Location was close to everything. The donut place downstairs is amazing! The rooms were a good size, we could stretch out and relax. And they were very clean. The patio on the 6th floor outside the pool was nice, would have been better had it been on the roof, but we sat out there one night. All in all a great stay, would stay here again.

This hotel was everything we wanted. Close to all the main downtown attractions, the river, the navy pier, Hancock Tower and lots of great restaurants, not to mention there's a subway station nearby which is convenient. Hotel staff is friendly, rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Only down side is the parking price which is steep but a car isn't really needed unless you plan to leave the downtown area. Area is safe and very walkable. I would highly recommend this hotel again and would stay here next time I go to Chicago.

Unfortunately ice machine on my floor not working. Refrigerator in room not working properly, I think because was in decorative cabinet did not allow proper ventilation. Laundry facilities not up to par. 2 washers (1 out of order) 2 dryers (got warm but did not dry). Would have been great for short term stay if these faculties not needed. Staff was great and location was perfect. Staff was extremely accommodatiing and engaging.!

Our standard double room was as pictured on the hotel website, an accurate representation (have seen many "enhanced" photos of other properties, only to be disappointed upon arrival). We requested a high floor with view for noise/traffic reduction and were accommodated, though a VERY noisy group was a across the hall, spilling into the hallway, running, screaming and carrying on...until the police arrived. The issue was resolved and we got a good night's rest. The staff was amazing. They were very prompt, pleasant and friendly. Cannot say enough about how wonderful everyone was to us! The on-site restaurant was wonderful and the adjoining bakery an unexpected and excellent treat. Give both a try, you'll enjoy yourself. Also great service. We walked by a breakfast brunch after eating off-site on Saturday morning, and it looked delicious. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and our room had plenty of space to move around (3 guests). We especially appreciated the multiple outlets (for charging all of those devices!) and many surfaces to place things. The only drawback is that the bathroom is tiny. But it worked for a short stay. The pool and hot tub are pretty good size for a Chicago/big city hotel, and well-maintained. Overall very pleased with our stay!

Nice stay. Great location. The entire staff was kind and accommodating. Rooms were comfortable

Stayed here for Lollapalooza. It worked well and wasn't too long of a walk.

The staff was very accommodating as we needed adjoining rooms for our teenage kids and the hotel was pretty booked and we needed to check in way before check in time and the manager was able to get us our rooms before check in. He was super friendly and understood our concerns! We are definitely staying there next year! Thank you!

The hotel was clean, friendly, and great location. Just would have liked it to have breakfast included.

Nice hotel with wonderful staff. The hotel has no self-park. Only valet service. I paid $124.00 for parking. Yes! $62.00 per day to park a car.

Great location - easy access to everything we wanted to see in Chicago. Hotel was clean, comfortable & staff were helpful. Good value for the money.

The only thing I had a problem was that the sofa bed did not have any linens. Other then that everything was good

We were very pleased that we chose this hotel and will likely do so in the future, should we return to Chicago.

Could ask for anything more. It was a fantastic place to stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was mostly clean. I had to do a few touch-ups myself. The daily parking rate is quite expensive: $57/night. The location is perfect--right in the downtown area, and you can walk to most places within minutes.

Nighttime view of nearby Trump Tower and the Chicago River in the background.
