Stayed at the Wit one night to see a show nearby. The hotel was busy but the staff was accommodating and wonderful, the rooftop bar was hopping and the food, drinks and sevice was great! The rooms were very clean. The State and Lake restaurant in the hotel we visited for breakfast and it has a very cool blues vibe, the food was excellent, the servers were friendly and the service was prompt! I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel in the room was fine. The valet took forever. The lobby was literally filled with people awaiting for the valet. The staff in hotel restaurant wandered around without any sense of urgency or care. We were there specifically for the waffles or we would’ve left. I watched two tables wait an incredibly long time to be sat by an incredibly aloof hostess only to then sit at their table for 15 minutes waiting for someone to come to the table only to give up and leave. This is the case every time we’ve eaten there. It’s almost as if the theme of the restaurant is “whatever”.
