I liked free parking, location near center of city, price
It said pay at the hotel, I was going to pay a higher price and agreed to it. Free cancellation too. I lost my purse the day before and had my card on suspension but in my phone from previous stays. They sent an email saying if I didn’t update within 24 hours it would be canceled. I had my card on suspension for 3 days and couldn’t remove. I booked elsewhere when my card came in and then got a call this same day at like 9pm asking if I was staying infront of my friends. I had to explain the whole situation and it was embarrassing. Why put me through the previous stress. Paying more when my card came in and looking stupid.
A short walk to Michigan Avenue and MOCA-Chicago.
I use this place quite a bit. It's a great location. Can be noisy sometimes, but it's clean and you can't beat the parking. Be aware - the day manager will deny you the "Free Breakfast" perk promised at check-in, because you were naughty and used a "third party site".
I loved that the parking was free and very close to my room. My room was sparkling clean and appeared to have been recently renovated. The pillow top mattress and nice sheets gave me a wonderful night's sleep. The shower was roomy and the water pressure was great. I would gladly recommend this cute motel for anyone who wants a convenient place to stay. Don't expect a big lobby, free crappy breakfast, bar scene, pool or a bunch of kids running around with exhausted and inattentive parents. It is just a clean and nice place to rest your bones.
