It's not a 5 star hotel but it is a 5 star experience for 3 star motel. Clean. Good location. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Nice tub, shower. Near great restaurants. Good price. It is in the heart of a busy district! Don't expect quiet.

Check-in was a little slow, but the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is older, but clean. The rooms are comfortable and fairly roomy. The one thing that I didn't like was the room temperature is controlled by the front desk. The temperature was fine in our room, but my mother's room became very chilly in the morning. We are used to a king bed, so the queen seemed small. We appreciated the microwave and fridge-freezer. The shower was good. No breakfast was available. There appeared to be a restaurant at the hotel, but it was closed for the weekend. Very basic hotel.

Chose for free parking which can be good but only 30 spaces for 50 rooms, so no guarantee. The staff is very pleasant, but despite repeated attempts, could not control the room temperature which is only available to the front desk, so we had a very cold night (around 66 degrees).

Enjoyed the experience. Close to restaurants. Grocery store nearby. Some rooms still allow smoking.

The check-in was fast, and the hotel staff was pleasant. The room was clean, though we had a view of the wall of the building next door. Surprisingly, we couldn't hear the noise from the outside. The location is great, it's only 3 blocks from L, and you can walk everywhere from the hotel. The only thing I didn't like was that you cannot control temperature in your room. You have to call the reception to adjust the temperature, and I was constantly cold. I called them once, they adjusted the temperature but then they lowered it again.

The Ohio House is in a great location, has cool mid-century building, but certainly shows the wear from years of use. Everyone was nice and the rooms were clean but don't expect a boutique hotel experience.

Nice place in the middle of downtown. Really economic, on a convenient location. With free parking for tenants. Will definitely consider staying here on my next visit to chicago. 10/10.

It's location is good but there's nothing special about it. It served its purpose. Small rooms and dated. We were allowed to keep our car parked there for the day and for that I am thankful. Staff was nice.

The hotel has a great location - is close to the Magnificent mile. The free parking is really nice. The check-in and check-out process was easy. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. It is not a luxury place, but very nice for a motel.

This was the best location of a hotel I've ever stayed in Chicago! Perfect for a quick night out on the town! Loved the staff. Room wasn't mind blowingly beautiful but it was very vintage. Can't wait to go back

The room looked new, the bed was comfortable, and the location is walkable to everything down town Chicago has to offer.

Didn't know what to expect from a motel in the middle of downtown chicago, but got a very kempt old building with free parking for the first car and a room withing walking distance of Al's Italian Beef, Rock and Roll Mcdonalds, and Portillos, Three of Chicago's most noticeable restaurants. Price was great for the location. Just really old...

Great for Price with Parking. Older clean room with the essentials.

The rooms are not very clean mainly the carpets. The room was not what I was expecting, I don't know if they ever vacuum the carpet too main stains on it. Please change your carpets otherwise the location is perfect.

We were up for a weekend quick trip with kids, on a limited budget. The hotel was clean and conveniently located. the room was clean and tidy.

Very good value for the money. We would come back. CJR

great location, good price, uncomfortable room with broken A/C.

The hotel is not on the Magnificent Mile but it is an easy walk to there. The hotel is very reasonably price and it includes the parking. It is an easy off and on from the interstate so it's easy to get to...no traffic. Makes staying at Ohio House a great choice.

Good value. free parking so attractions and shopping on Michigan avenue can be accessed without vehicle. Symphony is about 30 minute walk.
