This is the second time we've stayed here. Great breakfast. Close to everything.

Our stay was very nice, it is a good location, the staff was very helpful.

Great girls weekend stay at Hampton Inn. Close to Mag Mile so you can walk to shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. The room was nice and clean with flat screen tv. The bathroom was clean and has large counter space for all your personal items. Free breakfast included but we chose to go to "The Yolk" restaurant which was several blocks away. I would recommend this hotel as I had a great stay here.

No hot water in shower , the mattress was uncomfortable ,the morning breakfast had eggs that were terrible also the parking attendant the checked me in I be-leave took my Cologne .

Traveled to Chicago (union station) by train from northwest suburbs. Hopped a cab to Hampton Inn because we had all our luggage. Upon arriving we requested to store the luggage; however, front desk noted our room was ready. We were very pleased as it was 1 pm. Room was large for city room. Roof top pool was great with lovely views. Breakfast was the best continental I have ever had- including a variety of fresh fruit, fresh waffles complete with toppings, and sausage. The only downfall was the wait for the elevator which could be 10 minutes at times. The location of this hotel feels safe and secure. We walked to the bean, navy pier, and the water tower from the hotel.

This hotel has one of the friendliest staff as we've ever experienced. It's a great location and has all you need in close proximity. The morning breakfast is very good and is well maintained. The rooftop pool was a highlight for the kids. The only downfall was that the elevators were extremely slow (they share 3 elevators with the Homewood suites), however they offered the maintenance elevator if we waited too long! overall we loved our stay!

We got a noise complaint after getting back from a concert and we weren't even loud. Even the staff that knocked on our door said he was listening for 5 minutes and we were not loud but he had to follow through on the compliant. He also said a second compliant would get us kicked out. We had tv on and was talking and all taking showers getting ready for bed. Not impressed with the compliant

The hotel is very close to main shopping district but it is also close to a medical center so the siren of the ambulances never stop. sometime you may need to wait for a long time for the elevator. In the morning that we are checking out the house keeping woke us up at 9:00 o'clock. Even though I told them that we will be in the room till the check-out time (12:00) they knocked the door once more at 11:00.

If I did not have to wait so long for a down elevator!!! I would stay there again.

Hotel was nice refrigerator did not work good. Everything was in walking distance

We were very pleasantly surprised by how well we were treated throughout our stay! The staff was all very friendly and welcoming. Our room was nicer than we expected. We'd be happy to return!

Great hotel, staff, room in a great location! Terrific breakfast as well!

This hotel is split between a Homewood Suites and a Hampton Inn, both owned by Hilton. There are two separate registration desks and when we arrived no one was manning the Hampton side. We had to wait for the guy to find ish with someone checking into Homewood and then walk across the lobby to check us in. All ridiculous. Have one desk or staff it sufficiently. Create more separation in the lobby so we don't feel like second class citizens. I wouldn't go back. Too many other options in downtown Chicago. Valet parking was listed at $60 so we found a parking spot for half that two blocks away with SpotHero. Also, no indoor pool for my kids. They have an outdoor pool only...In Chicago. Not practical for winter.

Our check in was till 3:00pm we got there at 8am and they gave us our room right there and then. I thought we would have to wait with our luggage till 3:00 but they were so kind to give us our room before time.

I planned a trip to Chicago as a birthday present for my boyfriend. He absolutely loved it. While the hotel staf were attentive, they were not overbearing. We had complimentary breakfast which was nice since everything in the city was super expensive. We even had complimentary internet. Overall it was a nice experience and I would not mind staying here again.

The bath rooms are in some serious need of renovation. The tub needs to be replaced or resurfaced.

Great staff, room could use a little TLC, nice breakfast.

We have stayed in other hotels downtown where the street noise is horrible, making it hard to sleep. That is not the case with the Hampton. The room (2 double beds, non-suite) was spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The only issue with our room - which was purely cosmetic - was that the basin of the shower had been stripped and looked a little ugly. Breakfast was delicious with lots of hot and cold options as well as beverage selections.

Our first day in Saturday the meals and coffee and the place was dirty and was missing the food

Absolutely loved everything about this hotel. I booked two rooms and we arrived a couple of hours before check in. The original rooms on the 16th floor weren't ready but when I told them we had to get ready for a function, they went out of their way to accommodate. There was one room ready on the 32nd floor so we checked into that one, and they let us know when the other room, which was two doors down, was ready. The rooms were a wonderful surprise. The first room was very spacious with 2 queen beds. Super clean and wall to wall windows with a great view of the city. The bathroom was on the small side but the rest of the room made up for it. Then … the second room was even bigger and better! It had a nice pullout couch and an even longer wall of windows. The view was so spectacular we never once closed our curtains! The bathroom was larger in this room, too, and even though it was directly across from the elevators, we rarely noticed any noise. Even this high up you can still hear sirens and occasional traffic noise but that’s life in the city. Didn’t bother us at all! Their breakfasts were amazing – something for everyone and everything was fresh and yummy. And the location couldn't be better - steps from shopping and there's a bus stop on the corner that will take you into the loop or north. We took the bus to the zoo in Lincoln Park and spent a couple of hours enjoying the animals - and admission is FREE!
