Hotel was nice refrigerator did not work good. Everything was in walking distance

We were very pleasantly surprised by how well we were treated throughout our stay! The staff was all very friendly and welcoming. Our room was nicer than we expected. We'd be happy to return!

Great hotel, staff, room in a great location! Terrific breakfast as well!

This hotel is split between a Homewood Suites and a Hampton Inn, both owned by Hilton. There are two separate registration desks and when we arrived no one was manning the Hampton side. We had to wait for the guy to find ish with someone checking into Homewood and then walk across the lobby to check us in. All ridiculous. Have one desk or staff it sufficiently. Create more separation in the lobby so we don't feel like second class citizens. I wouldn't go back. Too many other options in downtown Chicago. Valet parking was listed at $60 so we found a parking spot for half that two blocks away with SpotHero. Also, no indoor pool for my kids. They have an outdoor pool only...In Chicago. Not practical for winter.

Our check in was till 3:00pm we got there at 8am and they gave us our room right there and then. I thought we would have to wait with our luggage till 3:00 but they were so kind to give us our room before time.

I planned a trip to Chicago as a birthday present for my boyfriend. He absolutely loved it. While the hotel staf were attentive, they were not overbearing. We had complimentary breakfast which was nice since everything in the city was super expensive. We even had complimentary internet. Overall it was a nice experience and I would not mind staying here again.

The bath rooms are in some serious need of renovation. The tub needs to be replaced or resurfaced.

Great staff, room could use a little TLC, nice breakfast.

We have stayed in other hotels downtown where the street noise is horrible, making it hard to sleep. That is not the case with the Hampton. The room (2 double beds, non-suite) was spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The only issue with our room - which was purely cosmetic - was that the basin of the shower had been stripped and looked a little ugly. Breakfast was delicious with lots of hot and cold options as well as beverage selections.

Our first day in Saturday the meals and coffee and the place was dirty and was missing the food

Absolutely loved everything about this hotel. I booked two rooms and we arrived a couple of hours before check in. The original rooms on the 16th floor weren't ready but when I told them we had to get ready for a function, they went out of their way to accommodate. There was one room ready on the 32nd floor so we checked into that one, and they let us know when the other room, which was two doors down, was ready. The rooms were a wonderful surprise. The first room was very spacious with 2 queen beds. Super clean and wall to wall windows with a great view of the city. The bathroom was on the small side but the rest of the room made up for it. Then … the second room was even bigger and better! It had a nice pullout couch and an even longer wall of windows. The view was so spectacular we never once closed our curtains! The bathroom was larger in this room, too, and even though it was directly across from the elevators, we rarely noticed any noise. Even this high up you can still hear sirens and occasional traffic noise but that’s life in the city. Didn’t bother us at all! Their breakfasts were amazing – something for everyone and everything was fresh and yummy. And the location couldn't be better - steps from shopping and there's a bus stop on the corner that will take you into the loop or north. We took the bus to the zoo in Lincoln Park and spent a couple of hours enjoying the animals - and admission is FREE!

First and most important is there is no parking!!! The parking lot connected to the hotel is $60 overnight. But otherwise great location for walking or taking an uber for less than $5 rides to get anywhere interesting. The city doesnt sleep until 4am so there willbe alot to do. 30th floor and up for best views. Pool is a summer rooftop pool only. Free breakfast was average but better than most continental breakfast offered. Buffet style.

Great experience, with no problems whatsoever. Had a very pleasant stay from checkin to checkout. We used luggage check in because our check out and flight was about 6 hours apart, so we picked up our luggage on the way to the airport no problem

The location is ideal, and the staff were really helpful with recommending local restaurants and helping us figure out bus routes. The room was comfortable.

This hotel has a perfect location near all of the fun in Chicago, just off of north Michigan Ave. Easy walking or transit to everything.

My room was 3001 the room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable..I had a great window view of Downtown.Your also off Michigan st where all stores and restaurants are located. breakfast was very good and simple.. Over all I suggest this hotel if you want a safe place to sleep while in chicago

Very nice location. Friendly staff. Nice view from our room. Clean and modern.

Super convenient to downtown attractions and hospitals, the room rate was $95 w tax, BUT surprise parking at the hotel is $60 overnight, making it something I will look at more closely next time I come to Chicago. The free breakfast was not good because it was cold food, and certainly not the quality I expected to get from a "Magnificent Mile" Hotel.

Great room! Spacious with a great view. Perfectly located for exploring the city!

Pretty good experience, hotel met my needs without any "wow" factor. Breakfast was good, though lines could get long. Room was clean and comfortable and gym was nice with all necessary machines and equipment. Only real downside was elevators at peak times - breakfast and checkout. Wait time for elevator approached 10-12 minutes several times during stay and that required a real squeeze when we did fit in. Took the stairs up and down 24 floors a few times to avoid wait.
