First, we went up to our room to rest before the Blackhawks game after checking in. I woke up to a bedbug crawling on me. Happy to provide photographic proof of it on the be after my husband brushed it off of me. Thankfully we caught it before getting more than one bite, which was red and inflamed. We told the gentleman at the front desk and he was incredibly kind and apologetic and offered to comp our parking cost and free snacks, which was kind. He moved us to a new room on a higher level. However, all throughout the night we were woken up by incredibly loud thumping, yelling, and talking in the hallways. The air in the room was so dry I woke up with a bloody nose and dry, scratchy throat. The water pressure was very inconsistent, which made hair washing a challenge. This weekend getaway was a Christmas gift from my husband and while our time together was great, this hotel stay was truly awful and not worth our money. The gentleman who assisted us was the only bright spot at this place. We will not stay here again and are furious we spent a dime on such an awful experience.

The room had a few crumbs on the floor. The shampoo bottle had hair dye on it. The bfast spread was was great. However, it seemingly gets cold fast because it was only 8:30 and the sausage, pancakes and other items meant to be hot were luke warm at best. Other than that, I felt very safe and its overall a really nice hotel.
