When we entered the room it noted it was very dated and dirty. There was dried food on the entry way floor, black hairs on the bathroom floor, on the toilet seat, and in the shower. A box of kleenex that lookd like it was stuffed with used kleenex, the condiments for the coffee weremissing but the beds were made. The carpet with dirty with food, dirt and paint stains. I just thought they hadn't had a chance to clean the room and they gave us the wrong room. When I explained to the cleaning lady in the hallway she stated it was cleaned. Another lady entered the room without knokcing and had condiments for the coffee make in her hand and apoligzed for barging in the room and she looked surprised peope were in the room. I showed her all the dirty areas in the room and she didn't understand what I was saying and left the room. She later came back with a dirty green and yellow sponge and tried to clean the safe and the dirty floors but whatever was on it ws caked on it. She said she did the best she could. I pointed out the dirty kleenx box and the bathroom and she states, "Oh. no no no, thats find. They just put new Kleenex's in the box." I was so frustarted by that point that we just left the hotel and went to a Mariott down the road. Never again! What a horrible experience. The front desk was rude and never apologized for the room. She didn't even deny that she put us in a dirty room that wasn't ready for the next guest. I don't mind a dated hotel but I do expect it to be clean

Great jump on the train and go into Chicago for the day for 6 dollars a person Restaurant good for a cold beverage and snack after a day of walking around chicgao

I needed a hotel close to O'Hare with easy access to downtown. The hotel was a fairly easy quarter mile walk from the Cumberland Blue Line station just 2 stops from O'Hare and about 30 minutes to downtown. Would have been a little scary late night if with family or in dashing across Cumberland. The hotel itself was decent, clean, but under some construction. One elevator was stripped to plywood in places, but otherwise minimal. Hotel restaurant/bar was convenient, but a little pricey. A typical HI breakfast buffet was missing. Staff was friendly and helpful and parking was ample. I'd stay again if alone, but probably not with wife and children.

The hotel was being remodeled so it is hard to judge its appearance. The staff were generally friendly and the bar downstairs was nice, lots of TV's and good beer selection. The rooms were nice and they have luggage carts that you can use to move your stuff around. Good value for your money.

Nice hotel, Bar Louie off the lobby very nice, good food, Great location. Close to public trans.

The only problem I had was with the shower - I couldn't get the water to stop running.

We were in Chicago for three days, with the main objective to go see "Hamilton." We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn. It worked out really well because we were able to catch the train to go downtown. The hotel staff was really nice and helpful. The shuttle service picked up us from the airport and took us back to the airport The hotel restaurant was clean and the food was great. We also got a ride on the casino shuttle and that worked out really well. ... My only negative comment would be that I was told it was a 5-minute walk to the train station. Well, it seemed more like 20 minutes. The train station is catty-corner from the hotel, but that's a busy intersection in the evenings, and not easy to maneuver, especially if it's raining. But overall, we had a great experience.

I don't spend too much time in the room. The staff were excellent. They were responsive to my needs. The room got cleaned everyday.

Great hotel with bar/restaurant conveniently located on the first floor. Great breakfast buffet and option to order off the menu instead included with the stay. 2 miles from the airport but no noise.

Great restaurant, hotel was under construction so parking in back was not a great option

The staff were very nice and very efficient, so no complaints. The hotel was just fine and the room was fine. However, I rated the hotel an overall 3 because although it was clean and comfortable, the hotel is old and it needs some work. My shower did not drain so by the time a short shower was had the tub had 3 inches of water in it and that is just gross. The carpets are old and may not be dirty, but they look unclean. The blackout shade in my room was ripped and wouldn't close, so I had to close it by propping a garbage can against it. Etc.... I would stay here again if I needed to be near the airport, but it would not be my first choice.

Hotel was in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont & very convenient walk to CTA Blue Line to go downtown. Clean, comfortable & Bar Louie is in the hotel. Nice gym,but unfortunately the pool was not open. I would of love to swim in it.

Ok place to stay not to pricing.Nice to have bar louis next door to hang out if you dont want to drive out.

Nice hotel close to the airport. Great fast shuttle service. Nice bar and restaurant with good food. The room was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

Walking distance from the Metra blue line which was a huge draw point. About a 25 train ride to the heart of the city. The room was nice, the restaurant on the first floor was also very nice. Decent fitness room. Overall very satisfied. Would stay there again, no question.

Everything was good except the cleaning lady busted in on us when we got out of the shower she didn't knock or anything

I attended a conference at the convention center, and was able to use their free shuttle as I needed it. It's also easy walking to the El and several restaurants.

room was comfortable, hotel was clean, and with a convenient location for my business trip. will consider it again when in the area

Nice hotel with a very nice bar (many beers on tap!). Beds and such were awesome. A bit too close to the airport, but not too bad. The driveway in to the hotel is a bit strange and hard to spot

This hotel looks a little shabby on the outside but the inside is beautifully done. We really enjoyed our time staying here
