We had the police escort us off of the property with our children all because we needed a room with a working bathtub to wash our children. The first room didn’t have a working key and the second room had a broken bathtub. We were told to come down in the morning for a new room and when we did the front desk worker called the police and had us removed from the hotel. Even the police told the hotel staff that he was in the wrong. The front desk worker was hostile when I asked for hr number and refused to give me his name to put in a report. The police had to get me the information because the front desk told me no until the police made him do it.

Great place to stay! Super clean room! I love it! Highly recommended.

The once nice hotel is dirty, with stained and threadbare carpeting everywhere as well as being in drastic need of a fresh coat of paint. Paint is chipping off the walls and elevators. Service is non-existent to help at doors or with luggage. You are totally in your own. Can’t possible recommend the place.

Granted, I was there during Covid-19 Crisis, but it should still not be necessary to request housekeeping. I have travelled a lot, stayed in hotels all over the US, also Europe. This is the first time I’ve had to ask that my room be cleaned and my bed made.

We pre-paid for an inclusive breakfast with our stay and upon check-in; we were told that they aren't serving breakfast. But they were not able to take charges off of our room stay. Apparently we have to call the Accounting office to explain all of this. Very disappointing. And the bathroom was not very clean. We will not be returning to this hotel.

I felt the bathroom and room itself was a little small. Bed was a little soft. Curtains needed to be cleaned or updated.

Elevators took forever and one was out of order. Staff was extremely rude

The property was nice. The room was small but clean and very comfortable.

The location was excellent, across the street from the Drake and steps from Michigan Avenue. Rooms are small but clean.

I have stayed at this hotel before and it was great, however this stay was just okay. First off when we checked into the room we tried to contact the front desk and the phone in the room wasn’t working. Second, we grabbed a martini at the bar and it tasted like there was little to no alcohol in it and it took an excessive amount of time to get the drink. Finally, I got home from the trip to see an additional charge on my account and it included parking and a service charge. My parents who were staying in another room parked their car there but I did not so I’m not sure why I got charged for it. And on top of that I’m confused as to why I was not informed of a service charge when I checked in.

Very happy! Nice staff very well decorated Yes I would stay again love the location

Classic old hotel. However: The bartender was not aware of the drink specials posted on the window. The man in the restaurant did not inform me that coffee refills were free. I paid for each cup I took to the room. $3.50 each. Small things but irritating. We’ve stayed there twice. Probably won’t go back. For the price we have options.

Location was good to shopping. But no coffee available in hotel in afternoon. And room coffee machines were horrid. Staff was pleasant and rooms were clean. we weren’t crazy about the showers. But overall clean and staff was great

Great location, beautiful interiors, poor climate control.

The staff was excellent, it was just a unique comfortable experience in the city.
