Very few amenities for the price. Historic building in great location.

The beds and pillows were so comfortable! Great location, clean and inviting.

I enjoyed the property, the convenient location to Water Tower shops and Michigan Avenue. Would definitely recommend to other travelers and re-book for future dates.

hotel was nice HOWEVER don't let the low price fool you as parking is 70.00/nite

nice hotel on the Magnificent Mile; updated but still has some old-school charm

Lovely hotel!!! Excellent customer service!!!Nice location!!

Very courteous staff, including bar and restaurant.

Valet is very pricey $67/day w in and out privileges but really adds to the price of the hotel. 1 of 3 small elevators was not working, and seemed to be too crowded to get on often. Doesn't have room service in later evening time. Hotel is older. Positives - the location is awesome, room was clean and quiet, free wifi, netflix and hulu accessible.

Great hotel. Lots of character. Staff was great, very helpful and everyone very pleasant. Good luck using the phone in the room, very confusing. Would absolutely stay here again. The location is perfect for a Chicagonweekend get away.

For the price you pay the rooms are tiny also paid Orbitz extra for continental breakfast and had to argue with the staff to get it.

A most pleasant stay. I recommend it to everyone.

Freezing rain kept us from getting there on Sunday but the hotel would not reimburse even partially. We called as soon as we knew we were stuck in Maine until the next day.

Great location close to everything. Nice hotel, parking place with reasonable, albeit "cash only" rates across the street. Visited our granddaughter @ University of Chicago 10 miles from our hotel (a car gives you freedom to travel and see so much of this magnificent city). Celebrated our anniversary at Cite restaurant on the 70th floor with breath taking views. All and all wonderful 4 days memorable stay!

Hotel staff was very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. The room was well sized and appointed for a family of four. Could easily walk to Michigan Ave and the Miracle Mile shopping area.

Very pleased with the cleanliness and friendliness of all the staff personnel. Reminds me of how the Talbott Hotel used to be before it was changed. Very quiet, at least for us. We stayed on the weekend and there were lots of hotel patrons but the rooms were very quiet. The only thing we missed was food room service, but they had a restaurant inside the hotel and there were plenty of restaurants within a short walking distance to the hotel. They did had a coffee machine inside the room. I'm originally from Chicago and transplanted to Peoria, IL. I travel back to Chicago often and stay at many hotels in the downtown and Michigan area. This is my first time at the Knickerbocker. I would definitely stay again!

Clean room. Good location. Staff was efficient and courteous. Had a great time in the hotel lobby bar
