The location of the hotel was very convenient and in walking distance of countless restaurants, convenience stores, markets, etc

Great hotel, clean and close to all the attractions. Very nice staff .... 5 stars hotel

Hotel Chicago has great location, nice rooms and was perfect for our weekend getaway. However, the receptionist I spoke with was not very skilled with customer service. She made me feel bad about my decision to book through a 3rd party instead of directly with hotel. Also told me that the only way to get an early check-in was to call while in the lobby and hope luck was on my side- despite just before telling me that they had a room available and I could check in right then. They offer room service but then tack on $11 plus additional taxes. I know it's Chicago but with a bar/kitchen being just downstairs- it seemed a little ridiculous.

Our booked room was not available so we were asked to either take a different room or wait. We waited until midnight for our room to be available for check in, and offered 2 drink vouchers to the onsite bar which had already closed for inconvenience. We politely asked for late check-out to be able to sleep in for a few hours since our checkout was delayed by 8 hours, however were told we'd have to pay $120. It's truly a beautiful hotel and it was a shame to get such service. We were also woken twice around 9 am by room cleaning service when we were already scheduled to be checked out the same day at noon. Will likely not be coming back. Room itself was very clean with reasonably priced minibar in the fridge.

Location! It is in the middle of everything Chicago - yet set a bit back. The view is stunning and the rooms ideal. Highly recommended.

Disappointed that they didn't have complimentary coffee/cocoa station in the lobby especially since it was cold out. Most Marriotts have something for you. Although most days there was Ice cold infused water but at 30" it didn't really hit the spot. Accommodations were fine just didn't feel very welcomed/appreciated as I do at an original Marriott property

It was close to all our activities. It was great. It was awsome.

2nd weekend in a row at this hotel ( due to good price). You pay for what you get. I cant imagine the people who pay full price. This is an awesome hotel for last min plans. There isnt a pool or anything like that, BUT the location is awesome. Staff is super nice. I usually stay at more high end locations, but for a quick stay where i dont mind if there isnt a pool or spa, this is perfect. Rooms can be awkward. I booked a king room, they put me in a queen room with the SMALLEST bathroom and the sink awkwardly placed outside the bathoom kinda in the bedroom area. WEIRD. i went back down to explain i booked a king. They explained they were oversold, but finally found me a king room ( how do you find one if its over sold? Odd).. BUT still a great little hidden gem. I love the location and hotel staff..

Great service, helpful staff... Overcharged for the mini bar!! Not cool...

Location was perfect for my stay. Downfalls, no pool. Rooms were nice, but the room i had the wallpaper was peeling from the wall in the bathroom, and light in the entry didnt work. Otherwise, great hotel.

Huge beautiful room with amazing viee of the city and river! Elegant decor and amentities! A4 Star Hotel experience! Ordered Room service and the food was amazing! Must try the avacado toast! Bed and pillows comfortable. Valet parking made checking in and out convenient. If you have booked an event at House of Blues, this IS the hotel to stay at because it is literally a few steps away from the venue! I will be back! Ed with guest services was extremely helpful. All the staff members were lovely. Zero complaints!

The lady who checked us into the hotel set the tone for our stay. She could not have been more welcoming! We were also quite happy with the location of the hotel. We had a fantastic experience!

Great location. Parking is $72 per night and no free wi-fi, which is ridiculous. $20 for wi-fi in 2019??

The location of this hotel was perfect! Right next to plenty of bars and attractions. The pictures displayed on the website were a little misleading, but it was still great. We just received a lot smaller room than anticipated. But overall, great experience!
