Ace has everything you need! Multiple lounge areas, delicious food, great service, and walking distance to a ton of amazing restaurants in West Loop. They have an amazing rooftop bar that's a great happy hour spot and turns into a dance bar at night, which is a perfect place to start or end your evening. You'd worry about it being loud in the rooms but it's not! Once you get down to your it's completely silent and you can go to bed no problem. First floor is a great place to work during the day, has a great little coffee shop attached which strong coffee and amazing pastries, and also someone is always attending to you (whether or not you're staying at the hotel). All around cool and chic spot and would highly recommend to anyone coming to Chicago.

I stayed here for a work conference and it just happened to be my birthday as well - the staff made my birthday one to remember! After walking into the hotel after my conference, there was birthday cake , sparkling water and birthday card waiting for me on the table! Above and beyond service!!

My son arrived from Hong Kong with his Samoyed and we needed a pet-friendly place to stay. Ace Hotel to the rescue!! Not only was the hotel comfy and the vibe super chill, but the way they welcomed our dog was nothing short of amazing. He was greeted with a bowl of water and a doggie menu when we ate our meals and the staff were so warm and friendly. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Of note, if you didn’t know this hotel allowed pets, you would never be able to tell. It was clean and there was no sign of pet wear and tear!

Great ambiance with fantastic city view and yummy cocktails! They played good music as well. Fun place for friends or a date. We each had a different cocktail and all were amazing! We didn't try the food though. Good service as well.

We came for the weekend for a wedding. I agree the room was modern and slightly stark. Very comfortable, trendy, nice and very usable. We enjoy this style. Two nights for just under $550. Two drinks at the bar $33. Valet parking was available with,in an out, privileges for $57 a night. Parking was free on the street out front or one block away without problems. Public transportation is just a few blocks away. With the car very convenient we drove anywhere we wanted. Parking cost elsewhere was expensive. The attendants out front and the desk clerks were very helpful and friendly

This is the second time I’ve stayed at Ace and I agree with many of the reviews - it’s hip, in an awesome location and has a great rooftop bar. The service at breakfast is disappointing, like you are interrupting them. Housekeeping is so inconsistent - soap one day, not the next. Bath mat one day, not the next. Items not replaced in mini bar and they started trying to service my room from 8.30am, despite do not disturb on my door. A colleague had housekeeping knocking at 6.30am!! Also, check your bills - I was charged three times for one room service. It’s great to be a cool hotel but be careful you’re not too cool that you forget the basics.

We stay in Chicago all of the time, and have to say The Ace Hotel was an ACE! Great for anybody that likes a fun and vibrant atmosphere with great bars and restaurants. Also has an elite coffee shop in the lobby. Special shout out to Drew the manager at the front desk and the rest of his team there. They were super fun and really welcoming. We'll see you in a few months!

Great experience while attending a Wedding nearby. Located in the new hip area of Chicago. Accommodations were great. Can't go wrong with top rated bars and restaurants. Very mellow ambiance. Rooftop bar has great view of skyline.

Visiting our daughter who works in the west loop. Ace was great starting with the service. Although it always had a casual feel, hotel staff were consistently professional and focused on our needs. Other than the odd breakfast, it's rare we eat at hotel restaurants, especially where there are lots of great options within walking distance as in the west loop. But the Ace restaurant dinner menu is one of the tasty options in the loop. The after work crowd packed it in on Friday night indicating that its a local favorite. Everything you could want within walking distance and all of Chicago within easy access through public transportation or ride share just out your door. Great job, Ace.

The staff was amazing, so kind and full of information. The mini bar is outstanding and super reasonable price wise. Our room was roomy and simple and had everything we ever needed. Hotel is a central location, quick train or cab from O'hare, close to two main train lines. Will definitely be back. Extra thanks to Marguerrite at the front desk, she is so effortless at everything she does and made our lives so much easier!
