Location is great adjacent to the river. The room we had (210) does not have curtains that close fully so it was light all night. It also sounded like we were in the middle of a rock quarry all night. I swear I heard dumpsters being dropped from cranes until at least 2A. We needed to leave a night early so I asked the front desk. They said I would have to handle that through orbitz since it was prepaid. I used the orbitz chat function (which is very efficient) but was told that I’d need to handle that with the front desk. Went back to the front desk and they told me I’d need to handle it with orbitz...so I just said forget it and took the loss.

Beautiful hotel! My room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff was very nice and helpful.

The hotel was clean and the location was great. The problem was at the front desk. I reserved 2 king beds in a room which required immediate charge online and another king bed in another room. The front desk person said they don’t have it in the hotel. I wasn’t sure he was aware of it or not. He said he can give two double bed instead with the refund of the king bed difference. We went to the rooms. One room which supposed to have two double beds has one king bed. Went down again and changed it with the correct one. I never get back the refund. I asked if he can give me downtown map, he said he doesn’t have any. God sake, this is Hampton in downtown and you don’t have any downtown loop map? He said the breakfast was going to be grab-n-go. The morning person said there is no breakfast in the morning due to COVID. I saw the breakfast bags on the other morning. I asked if he can call a cab, he said they don’t call cabs. The hotel failed with basic services with not well trained front desk staff.

We booked this hotel for 1 night only so we have a place to rest after watching Earth, Wind & Fire concert @ Chicago theater which is just a walking distance from this hotel. Room is very clean. Pillows, mattress are very comfortable. Front desk & housekeeping staff were courteous & nice. Room has a coffeemaker & mini refrigerator. The only missing is a microwave & a safe box where you can store your valuables if you you're out. But since we only stayed for a night, it's okay. Breakfast is included & their breakfast is really good. Overall, this is a nice hotel to stay when your in downtown Chicago.

This hotel has the perfect location if you want to be in the middle of the action in Chicago...only few blocks away of Millennium Park, bus stops, and the train. We stayed there for 6 nights and we were really pleased. I would’ve given a better review if it’s not because the breakfast is not great, we had breakfast included but we ended up eating out 3 days. If you don’t mind to have a very simple breakfast you will be fine. I read all the reviews before booking and some people complained about the noise, so I requested a room in the higher floors, we were on the 7th floor and I could still hear the street noise (like garbage trucks or something). After the first night it didn’t bother me that much, just be mindful of the perks to be in the middle of Chicago.

Overall the property was great. It was walking distance to many restuarnts.

Great hotel. Wonderful service, loved the area and complimentary breakfast!
