Overall it's a nice hotel, historical and close to millennium Park. However, it is a bit dated and it doesn't offer many amenities for the price

Lovely place to call home. Great facility. Breakfast so so.

None to speak of , bad bar, worst resteraunt Carpet outside elevators needed vacuuming all 3 days

great location. rooms are not brand new, but very well-maintained, and staff is absolutely top-notch.

great location, nice bar and restaurant, great room with nice views.

we reserved 2 rooms and they were nice enough to get us joining rooms and to top it off we got great views of the water, when i reserved it was city views.they brought up a crib for the baby and my daughter ended up getting a huge corner room.the rooms were good size and the location was excellent.2 blocks to michigan ave. if you have kids 1 block to the huge playground at millennium park plus open air concerts.short walk to navy pier and 1 block where you get the boat rides.

Pleasant stay. Clean spacious room. helpful staff.

It was a great hotel, we used everything in the room

The restaurant was dirty and service was sub-par. I literally returned no less than 20 plates due to lack of cleanliness, I had to walk out as I was afraid to eat in the restaurant. Hotel room is nice. I would recommend the hotel but not the restaurant.

I met my expectations however, we could hear a party next door all night long for two nights. We complained and nothing happened !

Nice Location, but a bit confusing because of different levels of streets in the area. Otherwise, great stay!

Everything was great. Fyi.. there's no vending machine so we has to go down the street for snacks.

We had a corner room and loved the view of the city.

it was great, hotel is very neat and clean. Great service, friendly people

Close to the lake, Maggie Daley park, Navy Pier and more. The kids loved the hotel. Staff was great and couldn't have asked for a better location in the city.

Location works great when visiting Chicago, the Fairmont is between Millennium Park, Michigan Ave and Navy Pier. Park your car and let your feet do the traveling. The room was spacious with a lake view from the 5th floor. Only issue was the television. Had trouble getting regular channels, tech came up once and reset the television. Turned off the tv in the evening to sleep and once again in the morning the regular channels were unavailable when powered up.

It was right in the center of the city. Close distance to Navy Pier, easy access to CVS and dinings. The valet was just ridiculous. Great luxurious hotel but just not great for the price.

The beds were very uncomfortable... We weren't able to get a good night sleep... Note: pillows suck (to soft). Shower handle came off & hit my foot. My kids don't want to come back here again (concurr) :(

The hotel was located in a great location for visiting all of Chicago's great parks. However, the actual hotel was not worth the money we spent. The staff was prompt and did their jobs. Our biggest complaint was that the rooms were outdated and EXTREMELY dirty! When moving the sliding door into the toilet area we were unpleasantly showered with dust bunnies. Our shower drain was not working which caused a pool of water at the bottom of the shower. We called to have the shower looked at and the front desk sent up a service guy 30 minutes later. It was fixed but after paying for a room I would expect some sort of comp for the inconvenience. Also, this hotel is NOT kid friendly... We left the Fairmont in the am and checked into the Omni Chicago. We were given a one bedroom suite for half the price of the Fairmont. The Omni was extremely KID FRIENDLY!

This was a great hotel---perfect location and beautiful view of the lakefront. I would definitely recommend to friends and stay here again.
