Club Quarters Hotel, Central Loop

Do not pass up this place because it is old or not a major name. Staff was excellent and the free wifi throughout the building was stellar. Consistently over 100mbps. Yes it is old so the room is smaller and there is no fridge, but it feels like a place in Europe. The filtered bottle water stations are a nice touch. Don't skip a trip to the Elephant and Castle pub next door. Awesome food!

Room was nice. Didn’t blow me away or anything. Basically only slept in hotel was out and about majority of the time. Excellent location to many attractions downtown. Close to the L train. Would stay again

Good location to subway, shopping, theatre, and restaurants. Loved the Elephants and Castle restaurant adjacent to hotel. Really liked business area with coffee, fruit and energy bars, reading/work area, TV and nearby workout room. Did not like not having HD TV nor paying $53 per day parking.

Tiny room but great gym and study/office area. The location is perfect for anyone trying to stay downtown.

The staff is professional and courteous. The building is clean and secure. The amenities are generous. We love the Club Lounge! It was another great stay.

Room smelled of cigarette smoke.worst nightmare.uncomfortable beds.Rude staff.Vad food at the pubb

Excellent service from the valet parking staff to the reception personnel, and other staff members. They are always ready to be of service. There were two bad experiences I have experienced both times that I have stayed there. The first annoyance is the fact that they give only one towel for one or two guests to use after washing one's hands, etc. The second annoyance is that the television remote control is sticky and dirty. I doubt that it is ever cleaned or sanitized by housekeeping. This situation leaves one with a very unpleasant feeling.

Front desk staffs are friendly and supportive. But housekeeper is not good enough...He/ She didn't empty the trash bin in the bathroom before I move in, so it's quite disgusting :(

Great location in the heart of the Loop. Walkable to L train, Union Station and all the sights. Hotel check in and out was very fast, rooms were small but comfortable and clean, staff was accommodating with questions and requests.

Hotel was within easy walking distance of the Art Institute, the river walk, shopping and beach. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating and moved us to another room when we complained about proximity to the elevator. This hotel is nothing fancy but totally comfortable. I especially liked the filtered water dispensers and plastic bottles located on every floor near the elevators. You

This was the worst hotel I've stayed in for a long time and definitely not worth the price. The room was very small (barely enough room to get around the bed), the air conditioner didn't work properly, and the hotel overall felt outdated and run down.

it was walking distance to many of the chicago attractions & a close drive to many others.

The hotel room was lovely and i enjoyed my stay. The hotel room doesn't have a microwave, a fridge or iron. Other than That it was a lovely stay.

Just ok, felt like we were in a dorm room. Too small and a communal closet is ridiculous.

Hotel was clean and nice. Location very good - close to shopping, restaurants and transit. The thermostat didn't work at all so we just turned it off and temp still stayed below 70 degrees. We were only in the room to sleep so didn't discuss with the hotel staff. Staff didn't let us know about the club room downstairs when we registered. Didn't find out about it until last day when we needed to print boarding passes - would have been nice to know about as we were with another couple and the rooms don't really accommodate socializing.

Why didn't the hotlel cancel the charge of my credit on July 2, 2017? It's $130 which may be an guarantee for my stay in the hotel.

This hotel was within walking distance of many wonderful restaurants, the 'el', and Chicago's wonderful public parks on Lake Michigan. Our room was very clean and had every amenity we needed: refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, etc. Our kids loved the stay, as well. Downtown Chicago has really cleaned up its act. We found almost too many family-friendly activities to take in. The ONLY reason that it wasn't perfect was simply because there was no pool for the kids to enjoy, although they did love the fitness room. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Simply fantastic!

It was nice just bad view from windows. But I wud return

Dont expect anything extraordinary with this over priced hotel. No frig, no microwave, no ice, no ironing board, and room service was closed the week we stayed. I've had better stays at the Holiday Express. Will not be staying at this hotel again.

The hotel was perfect. If we needed extra of something they brought it no questions asked the location was awesome right in the city
