It was okay stay. Room service cleaning was the best

We had a great time, the hotel was in a great convenient location.

The room was smaller than thought. You could try leave the bathroom door open or you couldn't open the hotel door all the way. However, we were visiting so we were rarely there. Beds were UNCOMFORTABLE. I've stayed in many hotels and this was the worst bed I have slept in. No cushion and noisy. A maintenance employee barely and lightly knocked on our door and then just opened it and was about to walk in when he saw me sitting on the bed. He was coming in to replace a broken cordless phone. He said he would come back tomorrow and replace it. We were gone ALL day. We got back to the room and the phone was still broken. It was never replaced the rest of our stay.

I use the hotel a few times a year. Close to work, convienent, price generally right. This time the restaurant next door that I use for room service was under renovation. Disappointing as I anticipated what I would order for my evening meal on the walk over. Otherwise, as always, great place.

Easy location in the loop. Room was so hot and I couldn't sleep!

I enjoyed my stay. The hotel room and staff were wonderful. The only issue i had was that the room didn't have a fridge or microwave.

The hotel is located in the heart of the Loop with a relatively low price during winter season. Room is small but cute, and the bed is comfortable. Very good and helpful staff. Will be back if the price stays unchanged :)

Great room, large wall windows on two walls! Very satisfied. Would stay there again!

Easy to spot from any direction, this hotel welcomed me with genuinely kind and professional staff, a great pub adjoining the lobby, and a better than expected room. Though not spacious, the "standard" room is well designed with a great city view, and few adjoining walls with other rooms. Extras include a personal Keurig, dark blue china mugs, and a refrigerator and microwave tucked away in the hall. The cleanliness of the room and quiet of the room made this stay a peaceful one despite stressful activities. The location is also a plus with the famous Art Institute in view, Symphony Hall in sight as well, and shopping in all directions. Will stay here again, and bring some colleagues, as the pub is fun and popular. Oh, purified water dispensers with bottles on every floor. Oh, large local bookstore across the street.

Overall it was a good stay. Can't beat the price or the location. Three areas for improvement would be: 1. small refrigerator in room would be nice. 2. More than three coffees would be appreciated! 3. Control of room temperature was AWFUL. It was too hot and stuffy in the room The thermostat was set at 71 and would not allow me to go below 65! I typically sleep with the temperature well below 65. Ended up stripping off half my clothes and was still sweating!.

With a view from my window of the Art Institute and Berghoffs Restaurant, i felt like a Chicagoan. The room was not large, but extremely clean and fresh, with many unexpectedly tasteful touches. The atmosphere is quiet, the rooms are angled so there is less shared wall space, and even though there is a busy pub next door, the hotel is peaceful. The staff are helpful and peofessional by nature. The beer in the pub is great.

Great location, not a great deal of room(space). The lobby has been updated but the rooms need attention(bedding, pillows, towels, etc...) to compensate for the tiny room (which obviously can't be helped).

Nice location. Good service and close to important places.

Overall the hotel is great. I requested early check in (11am) when I booked as their site suggested to do and unfortunately when I got there at 9 am after a 13 hour drive they could not guarantee me a room at 11 so we had to check in periodically until room was ready. Room (superior with kitchenette) was worth spending a few extra for just to have the space. Clean, comfortable bed, nice staff. Negatives- We missed maid service twice our first morning, so before leaving for the day I requested at front desk personally to have our room serviced. We come back 6 hours later and it was not touched, I called for towels same night and waited an hour and had to call a 2nd time (11 pm) at this point. 2nd day, before outtings we put in a request for maid just to be safe and it was serviced as requested.

If you are planning a weekend trip and be constantly on the go, this is a good hotel closed to down town and the train system.

perfect location, clean and comfortable rooms, very reasonably priced.

The hotel location was nice, but the king bed was just two tween beds with two mattresses which were put together and make it really uncomfortable

Other than clogged toilet everything perfect for what I needed

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It was a half-mile walk from Union Station and in walking distance to the Art Institute, several theaters, and department stores. A few blocks walk to the red line subway line which is a convenient way to get to Michigan Avenue and Grande Ave (Navy Pier) areas. The room (called a Studio room) was clean, modern and efficient. It was not huge, but was big enough for our purposes. I think larger rooms are available for higher prices. The small refrigerator provided was a nice convenience.
