Good customer service Great restaurant and downstairs atmosphere Modern decor Nice hip hotel without rowdiness

I stayed here for a few nights for a business trip. The room was immaculately clean and despite being small, very well designed. I’ve definitely stayed in larger hotel rooms that felt much more cramped. That said, I’d probably only stay here as a solo traveler - not as a couple, due to the small room size. The lobby/bar area was really cool and a good place to hang out with a drink and work or chat with folks. The only thing I’d suggest changing is the suspension of housekeeping service. I know many hotels started doing this as a safety precaution, but I agree with others that it’s beyond time to resume that. As other reviewers have noted, there are generally large groups of unmasked people in the hotel lobby - surely there’s a safe way to have housekeeping service from masked staff in individual rooms. Overall, I really enjoyed staying here and I’ll be back next time I travel to Chicago!

Pros - clean, nice decor Cons - small rooms with no fridges - no room cleaning. They said it was COvID protocol but let’s be honest we all know this has nothing to do with covid. Just check how many people were in the lobby - cleaning service opened our door at 10 am (before checkout) while we were still in bed. They knocked three times and we responded three times and they still opened the door

Probably the only things missing, which isn't a big deal, are a mini fridge and laundry facilities. Otherwise, it's a great experience for solo travelers and couples.

Nice location. Daily linen service was unnecessarily suspended, attributed to Covid, but lobby had about 120 people milling about at night: no Covid concern there. Charged $25 to enter the room prior to 4:00 although it was ready at noon. Seemed like a money grab.

The first floor is a fully functioning bar/nightclub with live dj, probably the coolest place I’ve stayed in ages.

Noisy, small, not clean.

Clean. Very hip - more of a place to have fun then just a place to stay overnight. Toilet broke but staff helped immediately.

Very convenient North River location and fun (but noisy lobby) but the rooms are so small there isn't room for a chair let alone a small desk so there isn't anyway to do a little work in the room. They warn you of the small size on check in and offer the lobby which is spacious … but it is too noisy for most phone calls and when the bar gets busy too noisy to even read.

Fun, clean hotel. Great location too. I’ll be back!

Super hip hotel in the heart of the action. Awesome hotel! Great vibe and downstairs lounge. Super comfy and cool rooms. Definitely would recommend the Moxy 🦄❗️

Nice, unique experience close by many of the Chicago’s attractions!!

Clean Hotel with a fun environment and friendly staff!
