Nice hotel surrounded by a couple great bars the pull out couch was not comfortable at all however

We had a five star check in by Tamela upon arrival. The lobby and bar area was beautiful and a place where you want to sit and relax. Our room was very nice and we had a lot of space. The breakfast buffet was great with lots of selections. 5 star breakfast hostess Veronca dressed up in a lit up Santa costume was very fun, friendly and helpful. The rest of the hotel staff also was very friendly.

This was our first time in Chicago. The hotel and staff were wonderful. Clean rooms, comfy beds and great breakfast.

Breakfast area was clean, well attended by staff, and the coffee was nice and hot!

I was very pleased with the modern facilities - rooms and lobby were recently updated, the facility was clean and the pool/workout facilities were nice. However, I would only recommend staying here if you are a heavy sleeper or are in town to party. This hotel is located in the heart of Chicago nightlife and, unfortunately, the windows do not have enough sound dampening capability to inhibit the constant noise. There are several late night bars in the area open until 4 or 5am, then people spill into the streets. Things quieted down around 5:30am - just in time for breakfast.

Easy check in. Great walking distance to almost everything. Friendly staff. Confrontable room. Overall experience = A+

hotel lobby is under renovation but the rooms are updated, nice and clean. Price point and location are great. Zero problems with my stay. quiet as well.

I booked this hotel based on the excellent reviews here and on other sites. To be fair, this is not a horrible hotel. It's just that for the price (rooms were available for the same price at the Marriott, Westin and Hilton the day I booked), it is not worth it. I am not a hotel snob. I have stayed just as happily at Comfort Inns as at the Four Seasons. Its just about fitting the hotel to the occassion and the price. The good: Staff is really friendly and eager to please; the pool and exercise room, though small, has great views and was nice for kids. The box of floaty toys was a nice touch. The location is awesome and walkable to the museums, Michigan Ave, Navy Pier. The bad: They are currently under construction. No lobby, no kitchen for hot breakfast. The promised free breakfast was a bag with a frozen (and yes I mean still frozen) Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich delivered to your door to eat in your room. Except that they forgot to deliver for half my stay. They also forgot to restock shampoo or provide enough towels for everyone in the room. No major tragedies and they were quick to fix, but speaks to a poor process and/or an overworked staff. The furniture is exactly as pictured but up close, it is all veneer that is peeling off giving it a very cheap motel like feel. Also, the "dresser" is really a filing cabinet next to the desk. Also, no lock boxes in the rooms. Everything feels a little dirty, possibly due to construction.

The people were wonderful and the location was great. When they get done with their remodel it will be really nice.

It was a affordable downtown hotel, not best location, but 5-9 min with traffic using Uber, from the place I was doing my business meetings. In general, the hotel was clean 3/5, customer service good, breakfast included. Pretty good for 3-4 days business meeting.

The hotel met all of my expectations. There was not a great variety of amenities, but the location made up for it.

Convenient, clean, and comfortable stay for a good value!

Hotel was clean staff friendly in the heart of chicago &walking distance to many places

Was downtown to see a show and decided to drive home the next day and enjoy the night in the city. Hotel was centrally located to much of what I wanted to do, so could walk. The room was very nice and the staff exceptional!

Very friendly and helpfull staff need some improvement in breakfast variety

I stayed at the Springhill suites in Chicago downtown for a weekend. The location was perfect, just minutes from the magnificent mile, john hancock observatory et al. The room was clean, and there were no surprises. The staff in the lobby was always courteous.

Spent NYE here, great location, close to river north restaurants/bars

The room is easy to get to and had a great view of the city. Great location with many local places to eat or get a drink. Really a great value for Chicago, while being a quality room.

I had not booked this hotel before and had friends that I was booking for as well. The hotel far exceeded expectations. Everyone was very impressed with cleanliness of the hotel and spaciousness of the suites. The staff was great and very helpful regarding directions and extending parking time and the parking was very accessible. I would rate this hotel higher than a 3.

This was a very great place to stay. The location was perfect and the staff we came in contact with were very friendly. Very clean room! Would defiantly stay at this hotel again!
