I was there for the Chicago Marathon. This hotel is 0.5 mile from the starting line. The hotel room is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly. It is much cheaper than the Hilton down the street. The only problem that I had was that the toilet seat was not tighten enough.
It is a great hotel located very close to all train lines, and buses, near to Willis Tower and Millennium Park.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Room comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend
It's downtown so expect to hear traffic all night long.
We paid a high price because of the comfort, and it was not really good. In addition there are not breakfast. The service was good
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean, contemporary, and quiet. The staff was very warm and helpful. There were numerous restaurants, convenient stores as well as nearby attractions. I've already recommended this hotel to my friends.
I was in town for a convention and this place was great for the money. Less expensive than the hotel where the convention was being held and walking distance away. Clean rooms, attentive staff. Highly recommend.
Located in the middle of the city so it would have been easy to walk to restaurants and such. My boyfriend and I went during winter time so we did not stay out in the winter cold much. The staff was friendly and helpful.
We needed to be near the UIC Natatorium for our annual District meet. The hotel was in an ideal location, only 8 minutes from the UIC campus! ... easy access to Route 290/90/94. Staff was pleasant. We used the valet service, although a bit pricey at $48.00, it was convenient to have access to the car for loading and unloading the needed items from our swim meet. We took advantage of the Meli Deli bar area to bring cocktails back to the room after a long day. We also walked next door to the Pot Belly for a quick sandwich before leaving the city. The Hotel was easily accessible to the CTA Services. We will plan to return to the hotel again next year and walk the areas "Printers Row" and Loop areas. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!!
I absolutely loved the doorman "Showtime". He made our trip enjoyable and every bit of a pleasant and entertaining experience!
The high ceilings and comfortable king bed made us feel like we were in a mini palace. Great view of downtown. The shower was a bit odd, there was no door or handle in the shower and I was afraid I was going to slip. The staff was really kind and helpful. Loved that we could walk to all the Chicago attraction in 15 minutes or less.
Enjoyed myself. Would definitely recommend the Blake Hotel to friends, families and colleagues. Thanks
The hotel was in a great area. The walk to McCormick Place was nice and the staff was very polite.
Clean, comfortable and very reasonably sized rooms, in a great location, and at a very reasonable price. Overall, a great deal. The only complaint is that wireless internet connectivity in the rooms was a little slow.
We traveled from Detroit Michigan and with the snow made for a long drive there. When we arrived at Hotel Blake we were greeted right away by a gentleman whose personality was outstanding! We felt welcomed right from the start until we left! The hotel was beyond nice and everything was near by! I would recommend staying at this hotel to anyone and I will for sure be telling my friends about it when they need recommendations on where to go!
It was great. Perfect location. Good price. Nice staff.
Everyone was friendly and helpful room had an awesome view of the sears tower and other sky scrapers would definitely come back to stay close to everything
We were quite impressed with our stay at Hotel Blake. The perfect weather was just an added bonus. We were walking distance to many of the shops and just one train (blue line) from O'Hare. The staff were exceptional and most accommodating from the Matri'D to the front desk to the maids. Our 1st room was very small so we asked for a larger room which we were given promptly. It was clean and the bath and body gels, crème and shampoo were a nice treat. We have stayed at several hotels in Chicago and would have to say that this one was by far the best.
Hotel is on walking distance from a lot famous places in Chicago. Stuff is helpful and friendly. Hotel is comfortable and clean.
I had a business meeting near this affordable boutique hotel. The room was very large and comfortable. I had a great view of Congress Parkway boulevard which has a lovely night view. The area is fairly quiet (which is my preference) but easily within walking distance from many area attractions like Grant Park and Willis (Sears) Tower. The Blue Line station (to/from O'Hare) is only a block and a half away. The hotel has friendly, down-to-earth (and not stuffy) staff. My one complaint is the lack of plentiful and easily accessible outlets for charging multiple devices.
