Very nice hotel. We chose this hotel because we were traveling with kids. The pool was closed and the only one elevator was working. Also we had cold water for our evening stay and even in the morning. freezing water. not even warm. Next time the staff should give us a heads up of these things.
Love, love the location. Excellent stay there. I got the extra large room and it was perfect for the four of us.
Nothing like a quiet night in the city, even though we live in Chicago, there is nothing like have a drink in a hotel bar and have a great weekend night after a long week at work!
Nice room, comfortable and on Magnificent mile for shopping/ close to everything. Great staff. Helpful, friendly, fun. Would gladly refer friends and family.
First off I was sold on a one room one night stay on the Mag Mile for $180.00. I expected to pay a premium (location was crucial as my meeting the next AM was 0815 hrs and I did NOT dare be late). But. 1. You did not inform me that I was getting a handicapper bathroom--one that lacked either a bathtub nor a normal shower stall. It had a handicapper shower stall, which I strongly was not inclined to use because while it might well be safe for a handicapper, as a standing normal person it seemed like I was using the uncurtained shower dump in the basement of my parent's house with no slip protection. Ended up doing a sponge bath from the sink. 2. YOU, ORBITZ, DID NOT TELL ME until after I placed my order that I would wind up paying, not $180.00, but $211.50 because of "fees and costs." In short, you lied to me about the final total on the order of about 16% right there. 3. YOU, ORBITZ, DID NOT TELL ME (and I did not find out until I got there) that parking was going to be $50-60 for a night and NOT COVERED AS PART OF MY HOTEL STAY. In short, you lied to me about the final total on the order of about $33% right there. 4. While prices were such and so on the breakfast menu you guys kept filling up the orange juice and charged me about $2/fillup without telling me. Total cost of three eggs, two sausages, toast, coffee and OJ: $30.00 with tip (I wasn't going to skimp on the tip, the waitress earned it and prices weren't her fault.) In short, $90 overpriced. NEVER AGAIN.
Great and safe location. Hotel staff was great. They were really nice and knowledgable. Rooms were comfortable and adequate. I would stay here again.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and cheerful. Did not have o wait for elevators.
The hotel was in a great location, very clean and the beds were very comfortable. I'll definitely consider this hotel for my next visit to Chicago.
We had a great stay! The hotel was walking distance to just about everything that we wanted to see:). Definitely would stay here again!
We enjoyed trying several new restaurants and walking to John Hancock and Navy Pier.
Service and condition of facilities were excellent .
Stayed here on a weekend getaway. Right next to the mile, close to the pier, not far from anything really. The room was perfect. And the Starbucks right in the lobby is a super bonus.
The staff was very helpful. I will try to book this again when return to Chicago.
Perfect location for Michigan Ave shopping trip. Very clean, good sized room.
Nice, clean Hotel in a good location to nearby attractions. Dinner was reasonably priced for the area. I had a steak and it was cooked perfectly and recommended.
Always a great time in Chicago!! Great location for food and fun! Would recommend!
Hotel was in a perfect location. Easy walking distance to most shopping areas and Navy Pierre. Room was great for the family. Plenty of room for 4 people. We would stay here again if we went back.
this is my second time booked the hotel. Good for family and great location! we love it, good for shopping, restaurant and fun. swimming pool is good for long day off. service is a little slow but as far as can satisfied our request.
Hotel is a block off heart of Mag Mile. Only spent one night, but the room was clean and comfortable. One security benefit that I especially liked was that the elevators only work with your hotel keys (only guests and friends can go to the rooms).
We did a staycation in Chicago one weekend and the Courtyard Marriott was the perfect location. We were able to walk from the hotel to most parts of downtown, plus it is close to the Grand Ave subway stop. The staff here was very nice. We all had a great time.
