I was travelling solo, felt extremely safe at the Royal Sonesta. Very well connected for any tours/restaurants/bars, all mostly in walking distance. Was not happy with my room initially and the front desk upgraded me at no extra charge. Amazing hospitality, would definitely stay here again!

Not a fan of the pillows, but that is just personal preference. My only complaint is the room we were given was right next to the elevators for that floor so it was a bit noisy in the mornings and woke me up every morning.

The front desk employee LJ was nothing short of exceptional! I came to this hotel after staying one night at another with concerns and she gave me nothing less than 5 star level service. I stayed in room 2901, LJ allowed me and my family to check in early and our housekeeping attendant BABY was one of a kind! I hate i didn't get her name but her personality was inviting, her customer service was 5 start and she went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing less than rememberable. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone and I'm excited to say I'll be revisiting this hotel soon! Thanks again for showing us top level hospitality it truly made our vacation even more magical!

Worst stay ever
Not so good experience. This was my first time at this establishment and the first room they provided me there was a red blood stain on the mattress cover. I called the front desk and they provided me another room. The second room they provided they was blood stains on the comforter and hair all on the mattress protector. Also there was a sticky residue on the bathroom wall with hair stuck all in it. Overall I was very uncomfortable in this hotel and will never stay again.

This is a beautiful hotel. Very clean. Almost everyone we encountered on staff was pleasant. The gym equipment was way more than I expected. My room was clean and spacious. The location can’t be beat; so close to everything! I definitely recommend staying here.
