Silversmith Hotel Chicago Downtown

We loved our stay at the Silversmith Hotel. The staff was kind, the hotel itself and our room was clean and modern, the amenities were wonderful, and we don't have a single bad thing to say about this place. We really appreciated that they were willing to hold our bags after check-out as we had a late flight home, and we received nothing but respect from everyone at the hotel. The location is A+, close to everything we wanted to see - including The Bean, Millennium Park, and the Art Institute. There is a 24 hr 7 Eleven & Dunkin' Donuts right next door, not to mention great food within walking distance (we love some good Chicago beef!) Thank you so much for the wonderful stay, we can't wait to come back. 10/10 would recommend the Silversmith Hotel!

This hotel is convenient to downtown great staff and great rooms. I would definitely recommend it!

The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating but the rooms needed some updating. The main lobby and bar area was where most of the budget was allocated.

This hotel is very conveniently located, above everything else. I was headed to the House of Blues the morning after my stay for a show; not only was it a very short commute (and one of the best prices in the area), but during my night stay there, I found a ton of things to do within less than a mile of walking distance. As for the hotel itself, it's beautiful. I loved the way the room was decorated and that I had such a massive bathroom. The only downside that I can think of was that the windows were quite drafty; I had to set my heat at 78 for the night for it to feel about 72.

Right in the heart of the city with great staff and rooms!

We can't wait to return. It was the perfect location for us and had the comforts of home.

I was very happy with the hotel. It was centrally-located; the staff was very accommodating; the room was nicely furnished, though small. More than met our needs. I would recommend to friends as well as return if in the area.

absolutely loved our stay!!! the hotel was beautiful and comfortable.

We spent two nights in the Silversmith and had a wonderful time! It's in a great location, and the room was clean and inviting and very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Great hotel, the staff was awesome, especially Beverly! The only issue we had was the construction going on right outside the hotel, it wasn't really that bad, but was the only drawback. The hotel is situated a street over from Millennial Park and was in a perfect location for us, we were going to see the play Hamilton. You could walk to the theater and we walked down the Magnificent Mile - it was a hike, but it was a nice walk.

Hotel was phenomenal. So spacious and clean beautiful! Can't say enough. Will be our new hotel when we come to Chicago!

The hotel and staff were excellent! One of the towels in the bathroom had a makeup stain but everything else was perfect!

Took a trip to see museums and a play and the location was perfect. Easy walking to most of the big tourist attractions in the city pass booklet. There were a few weird things, like holes cut in the walls and patched with wallpaper and spot stains on the walls. Found a couple of odd long hairs in the towels, but other than that the room was beautiful and comfortable.

The hotel was fantastic. Located near the theater district, the staff was amazing! The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

The staff was hit and miss. One valet guy and one person behind the desk were very helpful and friendly; the rest of my experience with your staff bordered on rude and definitely not friendly or helpful.

What a wonderful stay at the Silversmith. I have stayed at numerous more expensive hotels in this area, and the Silversmith is by far better than all of them. The location is excellent, within few hundred feet of Michigan Ave, Millennium Park, etc. The hotel was recently renovated, and they did an excellent job in the lobby and rooms. Staff was wonderful, they were very accommodating to allow me to check-in early.

Went to see "Hamilton" at the Private Bank Theater (1 1/2 blocks away, so an easy walk) and the staff was very knowledgeable about the theater district and what to do while in the area. Room was very clean and comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay in spite of all of the street construction taking place. The only negative was some mold in the shower. Everything else was perfect!
