The hotel and staff were excellent! One of the towels in the bathroom had a makeup stain but everything else was perfect!

Took a trip to see museums and a play and the location was perfect. Easy walking to most of the big tourist attractions in the city pass booklet. There were a few weird things, like holes cut in the walls and patched with wallpaper and spot stains on the walls. Found a couple of odd long hairs in the towels, but other than that the room was beautiful and comfortable.

The hotel was fantastic. Located near the theater district, the staff was amazing! The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

The staff was hit and miss. One valet guy and one person behind the desk were very helpful and friendly; the rest of my experience with your staff bordered on rude and definitely not friendly or helpful.

What a wonderful stay at the Silversmith. I have stayed at numerous more expensive hotels in this area, and the Silversmith is by far better than all of them. The location is excellent, within few hundred feet of Michigan Ave, Millennium Park, etc. The hotel was recently renovated, and they did an excellent job in the lobby and rooms. Staff was wonderful, they were very accommodating to allow me to check-in early.

Went to see "Hamilton" at the Private Bank Theater (1 1/2 blocks away, so an easy walk) and the staff was very knowledgeable about the theater district and what to do while in the area. Room was very clean and comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay in spite of all of the street construction taking place. The only negative was some mold in the shower. Everything else was perfect!

This was my second stay at the Silversmith and it was even better than the last time. A gem tucked away on Jewler's row that is in walking distance of everything you'd want to do in the Loop. I would stay here again. Clean, comfortable rooms with very friendly staff.

Had a fabulous time in this hotel. Used the fitness center each day, and had a drink in the lounge a couple of the nights. Only drawback is no pool.

Lovely hotel. Soviet era Kleenex and toilet paper.

Hotel room was very clean and very comfortable. 5 minute walk from Michigan avenue. Would stay again 5/5 stars.

No problems. Nice cab service, staff, rooms. Good price for location

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Silversmith. The staff were warm, friendly and very accommodating. They really go the extra mile for you! The location is perfect for the theatre district. Only a block to the PrivateBank Theatre for Hamilton and another block in the other direction to Michigan Avenue. Lots of great spots to grab a bite to eat are nearby as well. Our room was comfortable, clean and nicely appointed. I found a couple of minor cleaning misses that wouldn't have been visible to the housekeeping staff without moving the sofa. We used the sofa bed and found a candy wrapper and bottle cap underneath the frame. Again, unless the sofa bed was moved or opened, this wouldn't have been visible, so it really wasn't a big deal. We loved our stay and plan to choose the Silversmith again on our next Chicago visit.

this hotel is very nice y clean the only thing bad is the every time we need our car , we have to wait 40 minutes even if we call the front desk to have it ready !! we still have to wait long time .

What a great experience we had at the Silversmith Hotel. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to make our trip in Chicago great. The room was large, comfortable, quiet, clean.

This hotel is close to everything in downtown Chicago. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Room service was terrific!

My wife and I stayed 22-23 September. The hotel is immaculate. Didn't get time to sample the restaurant or bar. The room was quiet and comfortable even though there was construction on the L outside. The only minor flaw was the shower handle was loose and came off in my hand. Minor detail. However, the location is close to sleeping areas for several homeless men so when you go out at night you encounter them during your walk. Not sure what the hotel can do about it but it's disconcerting.

We had a wonderful trip. Chicago is a beautiful city. We were able to walk or use public transportation. Room was comfortable and quiet. Highly recommend this hotel
