The stylish blend of sleekness and rusticism made this a very unique hotel.

Great old building-roof top and lobby bars were great place to congregate. Would be my first choice of hotels in Chicago Staff were very professional

Great location across the street from Millennium Park.

Great hotel with lots of activities & entertainment for guests, large fellowship areas & hotel is a hot spot for locals just hanging out. Rooms are very unique and great mini bars.

Some of the best hotel bars in Chicago are in this amazing facility. Room decor is masculine and unique. This is an old building, so navigating narrow hallways and slow elevators are to be expected. I am a frequent Chicago visitor, and this is my new favorite hotel.

The Architecture was enjoyable and viewing the ballrooms a treat. Cindy's is a wonderful restaurant; food service and view.

This was our second stay at this hotel. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Cindy's is the best view in town and with being a guest you don't have to wait in line to access the bar. The bed was very comfortable and room was worth every penny. The location is perfect for walking around Chicago and there are so many good restaurants near by. 30 minute walk to navy pier via the Riverwalk. Hope to stay again soon!

Great location, super-friendly staff, and clean and comfortable rooms were a good start. Our room looked over to the brick wall of the next building about five feet away. It would have been nice to have a view, but they let us check-in early, so I can't really complain. The hotel itself is truly beautiful with its Gothic architecture and mix of modern amenities and preserved original details from its era as an athletic club. The game room/bar was gorgeous and looked like fun, although we didn't have time to take advantage of it. We did get to use our priority access to skip the line and go up to Cindy's for a drink on the balcony. The view is awesome and they have a few unique beers. It is a bit pricey but worth it to experience the view at least once. It was a struggle to close our tab because the bartenders were so busy taking orders. Next time I would close out right away to avoid the wait. Overall, we loved it and would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful location. Exceptional service. Nice bedding.

Cool hotel with a great location! Close to many subways and restaurants, parks and sights. Walkable to other neighborhoods.

Cool and beautiful decor, delicious food and drink, great location, very helpful staff, comfortable room, interesting mini bar

My favorite hotel by far, but how is it that every other hotel (even Howard Johnsons) has complimentary coffee available before 7am except this very nice hotel.

We enjoyed our stay over the holidays. Game room and top floor restaurant/bar were outstanding. Common areas were clubby and masculine, just as you would imagine a former althletic club. Rooms were comfortable but plumbing left a lot to be desired. We could not keep a constant water temperature in the shower, just watched gravity take the shower handle down to cold. Room was also drafty and cold by the large windows but it was unseasonably cold. Something to endure to enjoy the great view.

This hotel is a feast for the eyes. If you appreciate one-of-a-kind details and are looking for a place that is outside of the standardized chain hotel experience, CAA is it. The public spaces are simply incredible. Designed by Roman and Williams, they provide endlessly interesting moments. There are multiple distinct dining options, all of which offer delicious food and drink in delightful surroundings. Our room was also beautifully appointed, quiet (we were on a high floor) and comfortable. Staff was overall service oriented, helpful and kind. Concierge services were fantastic. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Staff was great. It's a bit of a maze and took a bit of time to get the layout down. Room didn't have a controller for the TV. they got it up quickly. Wanted to heat up some left over pizza, they brought a microwave up to my room in short order.

Took my architect boyfriend to Chicago for his birthday. Hotel staff treated us like royalty. Upgraded our room for his birthday and sent a complimentary bucket of beer and treats to our room. The room was amazing and so comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The game room was fun and had delicious snacks. Great weekend!!

Awesome location and very hip hotel. Rooftop bar and game room bar were very cool.
