The location was ideal for us because of the close proximity to our family we were visiting. The breakfast was limited on days that pork was served.
Comfortable, warm (very important during the winter in Chicago), and with very friendly workers
Everything
I am very frustrated with the fact that I am paying a decent price for the room that I booked. Upon checking in I am made aware that there are additional holds for incidentals and etc. Adding insult to injury you have to pay $55 per day to self park or $64 to valet park. No other options available, considering I am staying a couple of days that is a pretty big expense that wasn’t expected. The person at check in said that I should’ve gotten an email to inform me about these fees. I checked my email no email and re-read over my booking details and I still don’t see any of this information. Then I go to partake in the continental breakfast and it is so basic and cheaply put together. None of the benefits or amenities “due to covid” but all of the expense…
The property was fine and served its purpose. Nothing special. Chicago feels unsafe with few people on the streets. The breakfast was fairly standard and good.
Very clean, friendly people, But breakfast menu should be a little more better on variety (more choices) Only coffee its good.
I liked that we had a full kitchen to use during our stay.
The GOOD: Nice location in downtown for walking. Loved the shower: good water pressure/hot water! The Not So GOOD: Do you have to charge $4.50 for a bottle of water? Sends a "Greedy" message. Would be nice if a couple of bottles of water where comped to the room or at least in the room already. Especially for a guest like me staying 5 nights.
Excellent location. Property needs an update. For our 28 day stay the kitchen wasn't well equipped. Housekeeping needed to be scheduled. The pool was closed. Would have been nice to have access to the outdoor rooftop at least
Room not services during our 4 night stay. We were told only serviced after 5 nights. No fresh towels, no detergent for dishes, etc. Climate control was terrible. Towels which had to last without replacement during our 4 night stay did not dry in 24 hours. We used to like Marriott, but it seems quality has gone down. Recommend staying somewhere else.
normal
We were given a $50 refund because the a/c in the room did not work, the closet mirror door crashed down, dirty dishes in the cabinets, and dirty underwear was found upon arriving. For such an expensive room we expected a clean room with functioning a/c. I would not stay here again.
Friendly staff. Lobby elevator was occasionally broken.
Beautiful hotel and very friendly staff. Reasonably priced parking. Room was small for a suite but nicely laid out. There were dishes to use in the kitchenette along with a dishwasher and detergent! Shower was amazing. Carpet was frayed in a couple spots but the furniture was nice. Would stay again.
We loved it for a couples getaway it was beautiful view the 25 floor so romantic

Thank you Edward for your review. We do apologize for Chicago's downtown urban pricing. We do recommend if you'd like to save a little to check out the 7-11 just across the street. Come back soon!
