Loved everything about the property and location. Mildew pillow cases. Probably the laundry service. Management replaced immediately.
Property was good. Close to many different shopping and food options. Parking is definitely an issue! We had to park several blocks away in a parking garage that charged $45 a day. It would have been nice to know this up front so it wasn't such a shock.
The building has such great character in a beautiful neighborhood. The private patio was a nice bonus. The room and building were very clean and any additional items needed were readily available. We easily took the T from the airport and were able to walk to every place we wanted to visit. We highly recommend it.
We stayed here a couple years ago and really loved it but this time it has really gone downhill. More like a dirty Airbnb than an actual hotel. The garbage was not emptied or the room cleaned for our entire stay. (Maybe we were supposed to take the garbage ourselves?). Other rooms left Chinese food garbage outside our room - not sure if we were supposed to clean that up too. No fresh towels or toiletries. The TV remote didn’t work and since there was no staff in the hotel we eventually went to CVS and bought them some batteries so we could watch the TV. The water wasn’t hot and not a lot of pressure but the worst part was opening the door to see a mouse scurry off into a hole by the fireplace. That was it for us and we checked into a Marriott. But we weren’t actually able to check out because there was no staff onsite for our stay, so we just kind of left. Also there is no parking other than a 10-15 minute walk away at an expensive shopping mall lot.

Very comfortable room. Great location in Back Bay. Quite expensive however. No accommodation for parking however - really catering to the taxi or Uber traveler and not drivers. Found that staff were not too helpful or knowledgeable regarding local parking regulations nor best locations to park. Would be good if hotel purchased a street parking location out front of hotel to use unloading/loading upon arrival or departure. Currently need to double park or walk a long way with luggage when arriving or departing.
It was perfect. Small, friendly, great art on the walls and incredible location! I can't wai tto stay there again!
