Boston Omni Parker House Hotel

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

The room was clean and quite adequate, with check-in staff friendly. However my stay was marred by two items. Valet parking was a mess, with the staff team not knowing how to greet and line folks up in order and encouraging line-jumping. And the signature on-site restaurant was closing down for dinner for the foreseeable future, because of a stated lack of occupancy, whatever that was supposed to mean.

The history of this hotel makes it worth the stay. The hotel itself is the oldest continually operated hotel in America. In addition to the birthplace of the Boston Cream Pie and Parker House Roll. It also sits on Boston's freedom trail. The only thing I found wrong or lacking with this location was the bed was not very high quality. Others mentioned the rooms were very small, however, that is due to the age of the hotel. It did not bother me at all. If you love history this should be a top contender for your stay.

Pros: Great location. Very friendly, welcoming staff. Rooms, though small, were extremely clean and cozy. Nice fitness center downstairs. Cons: no refrigerator in room, though it appears that there had been one in the cabinet under the t v. Complimentary water would be a nice touch as would free WiFi, which most hotels have now a days. Overall I had an excellent stay and will return again in the near future.

Beautiful hotel, old time charm and Boston Cream Pie!

Excellent customer service. Good food, clean property

the sense of history in the hotel is awe inspiring! the staff went above and beyond the call of duty to help us with anything we needed. the location is perfect! i was delighted to apply for frequent -visitor status because i travel to boston almost monthly and hope never to have to stay anywhere else!

The hotel was very nice with perfect location. The staff was very nice especially the one who checked me in. She explained everything and was quick and efficient.

We had a very nice stay! Staff was very nice and helpful!

Great location. Clean, comfortable rooms. Enjoyed our stay.

Always a great place to stay, close to everything.

The bathtub was extremely chipped and was cracking around the drain. The cloth shower curtain also had mold on the bottom. There was water damage at the top of the shower as well. I have tried various times to contact the hotel about these issues and I’ve just been given the run around. I had stayed at The Parker House a few years ago and it was very pleasant. I wish this visit had been as pleasant.

Good value. Would stay here again. Great bars as working areas.

Was a wonderful place to stay when getting stranded in Boston with bad weather. Great location, friendly staff and nice accommodations. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location, easy check in/out. They have a baggage storage area available, so we left bags there for a couple of hours after check out to go exploring. Nice bagel place right down the block for eggs or other sandwiches, lots of shopping and Freedom Trail literally passing outside the door.

Overall, wonderful experience. Love the decor and staff. The only complaint is the slowness of the elevators.

The staff who checked me in was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is an older hotel so their is some expected wear on the lobby etc. The room wasn't anything lavish but was very clean and VERY comfortable. It is in a GREAT location and you can walk to so many great spots. We went to the bar at the end of the night for a drink and the bar staff was friendly and welcoming.

Great historic hotel within walking distance from the financial district

Central location. Close to everything. Walked everywhere.

Average place to stay, little outdated facilities.

Great location, perfectly nice hotel with helpful staff
